Wegovy Anti-chubster injection-pen things
Discussion
New to this thread so havent read it all. Just signed up through MedExpress to Weygovy injections. While years ago I had success on the 5-2 diet and went from about 100kg down to 83kg my weight has crept back up to 100kg and I need to try to get back to nearer 80kg. Hopefully have made the right decision on this..
Weekly weigh in was yesterday, and after some laxative meds and finally 'clearing' I'm back to my lightest again.Very weird, 2 weeks ago showed +10lbs from the week before (normally I lose at least 1lb a week in recent times with the odd 'flat week' in the past) then a week ago 7lb of that went away, and this week the other 3lb went away so back to a 10 stone 7lb loss to date and 1 stone 7lb to go to my target. No change in diet or activity levels.Never had any side effects other than if you count high thirst and peeing a lot after drinking a lot, so I can only put it down to throwing my body out of balance due to reducing doses (went up to 12.5 max and on 7.5 now and doing a couple of each level on way down).Anyway, happy now I'm not full of **** (well no more than usual proverbially speaking...
) and back on track.
) and back on track.Jules Sunley said:

Hi all.
Sorry I've not posted for a while but am struggling and weight is creeping back, despite my best efforts. It's so demoralising. Even with the discount codes I've just not been able to afford to continue. I hate asking this of you guys but if anyone can help it'd be much appreciated. I know it's a big ask but it's the only option I have right now. I constantly ask at the hospital and GP surgery but it's not going to be prescribed to me unless there's a change in legislation.
I saw the nurse for my leg dressings today and thankfully the wounds are clean, pink and healthy. They're just taking so long to heal. I'm still working on my legs and can walk short distances with just 1 crutch. I do feel it afterwards but hopefully that will ease. I'm walking every day and trying my hardest to eat sensibly and avoid sweet stuff, bread etc.
Anyway, thanks to all that post here. I do read every post, even if I don't respond myself. Mark

Mark, sorry to hear your troubles endure. Have you looked into Foundayo tablets? Now available, can be taken at anytime (unlike the wegovy tablet) and seem to be around £100 per month so a lot cheaper than the injections.Sorry I've not posted for a while but am struggling and weight is creeping back, despite my best efforts. After 7 weeks my weight loss has stalled a bit, only lost 0.5kg last week despite no change to my diet or exercise. I'm still on the lowest dose of the Wegovy tablets (1.5mg) - perhaps time to move up to the next one - which seems to be 4mg from the app although i thought there was meant to be a 2.5?

Coming along nicely on the 5mg Mounjaro.
1.425kg average a week loss over 10 weeks.
Belt has went from struggling to go on the largest, to now on the smallest, nearly new belt time!
Converted into pounds that's 3.14lb per week meaning I've went from who ate all the pies to who's losing all the pies!

My losses had stalled after 7 weeks so I upped my dosage from 1.5mg to 4mg. Now the weight is falling off, it's actually too quick, trying to slow it down a bit to avoid getting ozempic face.Edited by Lefty on Monday 14th September 08:20

End of the first pen on Saturday and a further 0.6kg down to bring me to -4.2kg.
Food noise has basically disappeared, something I really struggled with. And portion size has had to decrease as regular size meals left me feeling ill or having violent s
ts not long after.
Started 0.5mg on Saturday and so far no side effects bar some mild acid reflux. I need to work out how to have my morning coffee (much needed) without it affecting me this bad.

Anybody know how much 7mg MJ is with Asda? I've been riding the new customer wave online with different suppliers but its getting harder and harder.
https://monj.co.uk/mounjaro-price-list-non-discounted-uk/Shows the non discounted prices. Can't see Asda on there but its about £200.
