Wegovy Anti-chubster injection-pen things
Discussion
Had a few responses so I'll go into more detail with the peptides.
I ordered a 60mg vial of Tirzapatide (I have to trust the certificate of validation that it came with) for £165.00 (comes with 3ml of bacteriostatic water for reconstitution).
I used 2.5mg dose to start with (you just pull a smaller amount into a syringe) and have recently gone up to 5mg as that's what I used to be on when taking the real stuff.
It feels 100% exactly the same as Mounjaro, I've had zero side effects and I've lost 10lbs in a little under a month. I do cycle a lot too but it's really shut off the food noise and helped me control my eating, much like Mounjaro did.
I worked out I have enough for 12 doses at 5mg at a cost of £165.00 plus a few extra quid for the syringes and alcohol swabs from MedExpress.
To get the same amount of doses of Mounjaro it would cost £456.00 (using Medino 5mg pens at £152.00 each as an example).
It works for me, feels exactly like the "real" thing and has saved me a small fortune. I think some of the peptides you see online are questionable and it would be right to say research is always recommended before purchasing.

Just FYI, you overpaid by about 1100% as a (tested) 60mg Vial of Tirz should cost around $13. I ordered a 60mg vial of Tirzapatide (I have to trust the certificate of validation that it came with) for £165.00 (comes with 3ml of bacteriostatic water for reconstitution).

These online sellers purchase these $13 vials and put a fancy label on them which they then sell for £100+, be careful as usually the test results you get are not related to the product they sell i.e they get a single test certificate which they will use to cover multiple batches as it's "enough" for most people.
It's really the wild west especially with the online single vial sellers, thankfully there are some great communities out there which focus on harm reduction and making sure people obtain legitimately tested peptides for a fair price.
I can't disclose on here where these communities are - and I certainly don't sell any of it myself - but they are out there if you know where to look. I myself have been using Tirz and other things via this method for over a year but you really need to be careful to a)not be scammed and b)reduce the potential for harm as much as possible.

I started taking MJ at 110kg, lost 30kg then the price increase happened so I stopped taking it. I gained all the weight just as quickly as I lost it and am now 110kg again.
Did you make appropriate changes to your diet and lifestyle while losing the 30kg and keep them up after you stopped using the pen? If not then your results are about as predictable as the sun and the moon I am afraid.I’m going to go back on it and just accept the cost.

Had I not taken Mounjaro before, I doubt I would've trusted this route. But knowing what it should feel like, and comparing the peptide in a vial has reassured me.

There s a very good episode on the Prof Hubermann podcast where he goes into great detail on the risks and benefits of peptides and their uses
Many of the peptide/peptide protocols are absolutely pointless and/or ineffective. There's a lot of bro-science, or extrapolation of low quality studies on mice or human studies where they studied 9 people and there was no control or just flat out zero human studies at all, and people are confidently claiming all sorts of benefits with no evidence bar "the feels". A handful are good but the rest of them are either ineffective or the doses required to actually get any effect far exceed what most can afford, unfortunately there are a lot of charlatans in the peptide space who funnel people to their side hustle which happens be either selling themselves or taking a cut from sales of peptides.
GLP1s have only made this problem worse as Mounjaro/Wegovy are peptides so people start off using those and then assume that all other peptides are as effective and life changing when it's nothing of the sort, GLP1s are pretty much the only peptide which is actually worth it, barring one or two others potentially.

Over 18 months my sister has lost over a third of her body weight and is happily resigned to the fact that she will probably be on some level of jab for the rest of her life because she knows she does not want to be big again. She is not wealthy, but considers it a necessary choice for her health and well being.
If you can afford it I agree, accept the cost but consider it may be long haul.
I would caution anyone against using Research Grade peptides. You have no idea of contaminant levels (e.g., bacterial toxins), although the number of mg of drug substance is likely to be correct. Clinical formulations are tested pre clinically for tolerability and clinically. They must meet very vey high levels of stability and include excipients that stabilise and aid local tolerance. Compounding into separate doses can lead to further contamination. Make sure everything you do and touch is sterile. These research agents are meant for mouse studies (if that).
If you must, you might like to read this research first on sourcing GLP1 peptides

As to GLP1/GIP agonists, over 25 years in the business, and these are literally life changing molecules. The kind that appear once in a career (if that). A pre diabetic family member has seen significant results and will likely be on them for life. We now understand so much more about the signalling pathway for satiety and how these differences manifest. For example, don’t be surprised if you need more as time goes on, agonists that stimulate a signal, often have tachyphylaxis, either due to more receptors or desensitisation. The good news is that ORAL versions are coming. Novo has oral Wegovy - a peptide in a pill (remarkable really), but Lilly has just had orfoglipron approved in the US (a proper small molecule). These will be the next change, and the monthly prices, notably for orfo, may be more tolerable.

How is everyone doing "after" ??
I've managed to keep my weight there or thereabouts, however have thought about going back to a 2.5mg dose to help with the food noise
My biggest issue was always beers, my job is quite stressful however in the past few months i've managed to design a system using AI & Chat that has now streamlined the majority of what my staff & i do, so stress levels have dropped significantly, so rather stopping & grabbing four beers to dull the pain, i'm straight home & doing something worthwhile.

7 or 8 weeks since I stopped MJ, lost a further half a stone since with willpower and a lot of exercise
On holiday in the USA at the moment and had one day where I reverted to old ways, went bezerk with food. Seems to have switched me back onto sensible ways since as I felt awful
No doubt it s much tougher without the jabs but not impossible
I am actually using AI (Claude) to monitor my training and give feedback, seems to be working well, probably just as I have some weird responsibility that I feel to not disappoint Clause lol. Seriously though, it is pretty useful

Just back from walking the dogs and the ground being firm made things much easier. I'm still having my ankles dressed twice weekly and there's a little improvement. Thankfully no infection either!
I've just spent the money I had ordering my next pen. I was going to try going without but bottled it I guess? It feels like a gamble that I'm not ready for. Things have changed so much for me this past 6 months and the jabs have been instrumental in that, as have people here.

Maybe try working down the doses, that way you will save some loot but not have the psychological barrier of going cold turkey...I've just spent the money I had ordering my next pen. I put about a stone on had lost 5, found I had a load of referral credit so got a 2.5 pen as a little boost half price. I have been doing a lot of strength training so a chunk is muscle but thought why not. They wouldn’t let me go back to 5mg due to the break. I’ve re-lost just about 1/2 st.I've managed to keep my weight there or thereabouts, however have thought about going back to a 2.5mg dose to help with the food noise

I think for many, coming off and feeling ANYTHING that could be construed as huger pains will send them scurrying back to reorder before the 'restart' protocol kicks in, whereas in reality, they've just been hungry...and I count myself in that number, full of self doubt about going it alone!!

new pill could come out later this year thats geared towards maintaining the weight after weight loss, and would be cheaper than a low maintanance doses of mounjaro.

Still probably have another 5kg or so to go.. but the rate of weight loss has slowed down. In the past 3 months I've only gone down 3kg.
