I think the S is slightly different as in sports mode the exhaust valve opens where as I don't think this happens on the NA, correct me if wrong anyone!

7.5mpg on track, nice going! In my last Lotus fuel was definitely the most expensive part of a track day!

was your driving style exactly the same though? If you pressed 'sport' you might have been rather more spirited even without realising it?
