Evora Depreciation
Discussion
Good story! Pretty much how I felt when I bought mine. I had tried everything else and nothing was really quite right with them, and I ended up trying an Evora almost as a last resort. Glad I did!
I think in isolation the Evora looks absolutely outstanding. I parked mine on a busy road yesterday and it really looked fantastic against all the big black/grey/white cars going about. Very sleek.
Colour is all personal of course, we managed to arrange a big Evora meet a year or so ago, and almost every colour turned up!

I'm from Fife, not far from Knockhill really. Moved back up in May after living in London for fourteen years (Never sold my place here). Now I split my time between being in Scotland Friday afternoon to Monday morning and working in York during the week. I'll have a look at the forum, though I find I only ever stick to reading stuff on here where cars are concerned.
I drove past an Evora on the motorway last night, not seen one going the same way as me before. At first I just assumed it was a Ferrari (it was dark and the low profile and round lights...) but after a minute I realised it was an Evora, almost identical to mine in black. From the rear and rear 3/4 it really did look like a 'proper supercar'. I slowed and it passed me again, just after a new shape Cayman. Talk about 'meh' to 'wow'. The Porsche didn't look anything special but the Evora looked, well, awesome. Wished I had been in mine. Still, the sun is out right now....

Is yellow the new white then, at least where Evoras are concerned? Colour is all personal of course, we managed to arrange a big Evora meet a year or so ago, and almost every colour turned up!
In my search for 'my' perfect one, I'd decided that yellow was my numero uno colour choice, but now it appears to be way too common, . Oh well, it looks like I'll have to get a 'domestic appliance' after all, as there isn't one there, .

For a relatively conservative looking car, the Evora has great road presence. Evora prices are plumetting here in the US - I've lost way more in a year (12x) than I did in my Camaro after a year.
I thought the exclusivity would work in its favour, but it turns out there's just no demand for it so dealers are usually selling at way under MSRP.
Good job I don't plan to sell any time soon then
