I see the blue launch edition in Shipley discussed a couple of pages ago has been reduced to £19,999. Our second contender I believe!

Edit: ignore me.. Now sold
Saw that - is it indicating it was sold for £19,999 or just a way of reducing ebay fees?

Think it more a way of reducing what you can expect to get for your car if you sell it to them..

I think it's maybe more to do with "oooh they sell cars cheap I'll keep an eye on these people"

Yeah definitely some sort of ploy. Same reason the advert is still up. It wasnt up for long enough for them to reduce the price that quickly....

It didn't sell for £19,999. They sold it at near asking price (£26k). They then reduced the price and marked it as sold. Very cheeky, some kind of ploy to attract attention no doubt.

Meanwhile Lotus Silverstone seem to have spotted the unusual market position. The quartz silver manual car they have had on sale for some time has gone from 30K UPWARDS to 32K. Reacting to the market starvation it seems...

Are they reading this thread I wonder...?

£17K runs + drives.

Can't see much VFM once this has been repaired in all honesty.

Airbag cover is lifted, of course wink

Ridiculous money and he/she also started the ad 'Here we have.." - for that alone it should be ignored.

That's plain nuts. You'd lose money if you bought it for 10k!!!

That was my view!

I really wouldn't fancy trying to rebuild an Evora of all cars with the parts availability either.

Dont they repair and sell themselves if it's profitable?

I've seen fully repaired ones a year newer with half as many miles available for £18K, hence me thinking there's not much VFM in this one

Gutted to see this. That’s my old Evora. I had it 3 years and sold it about 2.5 years ago to a guy in Wales. Not sure if he sold it on or not.

Sorry sight to see it like this, wonder what happened.

What do you think is a more realistic price? I was thinking 10 to 12k assuming there is at least 5k to 8k of work still to be done?

I'm not sure they're is a realistic price unless you can literally do all the work yourself and/or are in the trade. I think you end up with a car worth at most 18k.

Lovely looking aquamarine 2010 car in AT this morning at £28k. Love the colour, looks to be in nice condition. Private sale.

That Evora has been sold before, not that long ago with the same photos but with 34800 miles. Not sure it’s a private sale either as it was a trade sale last time with Norwich sports and classics. Or maybe the new owner is using the previous photos?
