yep that's my old Evora,.
Seems like the current owner has looked after it well, I just found out from Matt at Lotus Silverstone he drove all the way from the north east to Silverstone for a service because they done all the maintenance for me.
One of the pics might have a house sale board, maybe the guy fallen on hard times Seems like the current owner has looked after it well, I just found out from Matt at Lotus Silverstone he drove all the way from the north east to Silverstone for a service because they done all the maintenance for me.
Well I'm a very happy man
After several careful owners (and one racing driver...), this is now mine - it's a 2013 Evora Sports Racer, 2+2, normally aspirated, totally standard. It needed a good clean and still needs a good polish but it's just great.
Already impressed by it's breadth of abilities and the sound and power from the NA 275bhp engine has far exceeded my expectations - the switchable exhaust on the NA Sports Racer seems a lot more fruity than earlier cars!

Thanks! Still can't quite get my head around it. I need a proper extended B-road drive in it ASAP, the small sections of twisty road I've driven so far have been intoxicating.
What you need are the Picos Europashttps://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BOPNHqvZBBA

Its funny that on vid this looks slow but both the Evora S and Ferrari 360 (film car) were using the full rev range in 2nd and 3rd gears, the sound of the Ferrari engine gives a small clue to this.
Interestingly the Ferrari and Lotus were very evenly matched on these roads, the Ferrari driver is a quicker driver than the Lotus driver (me)

25k Evora with only 35k on the clock looks well in red. https://www.autotrader.co.uk/classified/advert/201...

Does look good. At that miles if it hasn't had a clutch (no mention of one) and if it needs a service...discs and pads went on mine around that mileage as well as the clutch so thats a £5k+ service bill. However, in an optimistic world, needing neither, it looks well for that money. Nice extended rear splitter too. Shnozz said:

I think the clutch issue is a bit of an exaggeration. I know a few people who have had it done 3/4 but I don't know anyone who has had a clutch fail on them.Stu-nph26 said:

How do you guys rate these? Obviously high but I had sort of mentally settled on a 997GTS before I even considered Lotus late last night. An Evora at say half the price of the Porker is hugely appealing to be honest even if its not as powerful etc.
To compete performance wise with the gts you need the s model. My made had a 997 whilehad my Evora s sr. My car was actually quieter inside Han his and handled better BUT the build quality was not the same as the 997 and there was a bit less space inside the Evora. One plus was a set of clubs does fit in the Evora boot.
He always commented on how much attention and looks the Evora got when we drove together and when parked up. Not seeing many around it was a joy to own. Go and have a look and drive and see what you think. Aimee at Silverstone lotus is good to deal with.
