Partially on topic, I'm now the proud owner of the car that OP managed to save up and buy in the end. This thread is quite a nice link to it's past.

It's still nowhere near a 20k car though.
Ha ha, that's brilliant. My S sold last weekend, so there's another lucky new owner out there now too.

Off the back of the auction? Hope you got what you wanted for it.

Other news:

- New ad up for a (Solar?) yellow 2+0 with just tech pack, £26,000, 38k miles.

+1 Great car
Thanks Stephen and Ollie this car has been well looked after and enjoyed and I will continue doing so. Definitely going to take a trip when lockdown ends. Anyway. Back on topic...

The yellow one, I don't know why people advertise with 'sports racer look' just gives a bad impression from the start in my eyes.

Weekend update

- The long-standing Glasgow car, which has been on sale for over 140 days, has price dropped by a further £500
- The red car that was on earlier this year (being resold by a flipper by the looks of it) has price dropped again to £24,495.
- The recently advertised solar yellow and laser blue cars now have their pictures up.

Is the yellow one a bit pricy for +0 with those miles and ‘missing’ a pack?

It is a bit. They may be trading on the fact it's the only yellow car that's been on sale this year. The bright colours are a bit marmite, love 'em or hate 'em, but popular with some people.

Other update

- Black private sale in Gloucestershire has gone back up on PH. Was on previously a couple of weeks back.

I’m guessing it won’t reach the reserve.

Busy weekend:

- Laser blue car (£24,990) sold
- Liquid blue metallic car (£27,500) sold
- Solar Yellow car (£26,500) showing as "reserved"

That auction ends tonight, currently at £17,000. Don't forget there's a 6% fee for the buyer on top of that. To hit a sub £20k purchase the auction needs to be won for less than £18,866.

That's nonsense, it can go much higher than that.

It made it to £21,500 (£22,790 including the fee) but that didn't make reserve, so no sale.
