Snows only gave me 3 months on a very nice and not cheap 4 year old Elise, which I thought was tight. They did a fair bit of prep on the car in terms of servicing though.

I've been looking for a used Exige. As I understand it, buying from an Authorised Dealer gets you all of a statutory 3 month warranty, same as if you bought a £500 snotter from the local portacabin & gravel showroom.

Realistically, I don't think a trader/dealer sticking 5K on the price of a sports car is unusual.
You won't have it more than 3 months anyway the way you swap and change.

Bell & Colvill warranty is (I'm 99% sure) 12 months but perhaps it varies dealer to dealer?
Silverstone give 12 months too
Ahh, good to know. I've spoken to a few dealers, was possibly Williams, that said 3 months.
Must be covered by the dealer as they suggested no manufacturer support. Real shame compared to some of it's brand rivals.

I had been watching a nice car at B&C. They've had it since at least Jan. Had a trip planned down South last weekend so booked a viewing. Got a call the day prior to say deposit taken!
You snooze you loose!

Update. Been a quiet couple of weeks:

- Solar yellow car was marked "reserved" 29/6 and has disappeared today so presumably sold.
- Persian blue car price reduced to £27,500

There are a couple of “cheap” Evora on gumtree, one a white wrapped black 2010 for £22500. And a 100k miles LE for £20995.

Good spot. I'll add these into my records. The £20,995 one is the cheapest I've seen, though I note he wants £22,995 to sell with the private plate.

Also on gumtree there is a 2009 SR lookalike in white with 47,000 miles for £26,000. Strangely, also with a red leather interior, just like the white wrapped one.

Freed offers a lot of project cars. What happened to the uklotus centre from a while back?
£20k + £5k to fix and you still have a cat N registered car?

Interesting - that's the identical sister car to my Evora which appears in this video (only one digit difference in the reg number):

Thanks for that, it should be interesting. The next 6 months might be more interesting with winter and recessions etc etc.

Thanks for that one....looking now...

Is anyone familiar with this grey one?

Would the higher mileage put anyone off?

As always with higher mileage the cars are fine you will have a limited market come resale.
