How long till the £20k Evora?

Do you know, when I started this thread I would have considered ~£25k for a 100k clean Evora, in fact I thought long and hard about blueg33’s old grey one when it came up at the time, and I don’t think it looked as clean then as Marks does now.
So does that mean in reality depreciation has been £1k a year since then for the oldest Evoras? That’s cheap motoring for a car which keeps getting mistaken for a supercar by the public, and is always talked about as a handling benchmark by the motoring press and even Gordon Murray.
Sigh...better to have loved and lost. I can see me buying another one day.

I ran an Evora Sports racer a few years back. We drove it from Harrogate all the way down to Montenegro - it really is a fab car.
The chap selling the sub £20k car shared some of the driving with me - so I’m partly to blame for him getting the bug too.
I think this one is actually worth a look at if you want an affordable entry point into this model of car.

Probably was me. It surprises alot of people when I tell them it's done over 100k ( I've had one guy insist he checked the odometer out). What they're also staggered by is when I tell them it's used daily and never misses a beat. Trick is to have a good mechanic who gives it a thorough going over at service time and everything is kept in check. Always keep an eye on fluid levels and never give it the beans until its warmed up. I'm not too fussed if it sells or not but my desire for an Mk3 Exige can't get fulfilled until the garage has space.

I don't know about everyone else, but I'm super impressed at how the interior's held up to that mileage, and the general condition of the rest of the car."To complete the pack I will be leaving the plate on the car and want £2k plus the asking price so for under £21995 it's a great package and way cheaper than anything else you'll see on the market."

It’s a ridiculous sales tactic. To claim that plate is worth £2k is bonkers. Why not just be honest?
ETA: wheels are 18/19 not 19/20 as the ad states.

Apologies and point taken and I've revised the ad to clear up any ambiguity. Wheels as you quite rightly observed are 18 front and 19 inch rears and the number plate is not included.
To be fair I think you'll agree the car is priced fairly at this price and don't think it's unreasonable to give the option on the plate. Thanks for pointing this out and hopefully ads clearer now.

I agree. Seems testament to how a well-used but properly looked-after car can look fresh despite some miles. Update. Lots been happening, I was away on holiday for a bit so this is catch up from end of August.

- The Black private sale in Gloucestershire dropped from 27,750 to 26,500. Miles have gone up by 500 as well. This has been on sale on and off since May, started at 28,495.
I've now got six months of data, When I get a chance I will look at doing some data analysis and reporting. Watching the market in the next few months will be interesting. I want to work up charts for: All sales and price drops chronologically, price versus mileage, price for 2+2 versus 2+0, Price versus pack info, Time to sale versus price / mileage, Trend of average on sale price chronologically.
