Will Blackham looks to have sold the expensive red low miles NA, and replaced it with a far cheaper, earlier white car...

Dibs! I saw it first...
EDIT: Speaking to Will, I absolutely did not see it first... Don't think it will hang around long.
Not that cheap for a +0 is it? And it’s missing a pack...https://www.pistonheads.com/buy/listing/11504800?c...

Not at all surprised that that has gone immediately. I've been (seriously) looking since November and this is the first early NA that has come up without issues. In that time, there have been 3-4 people on the Evora forum posting 'wanted' ads. Supply has not kept pace with demand over the winter but that could change as we come out of lockdown - it's been easier to decide you want a car than to sell a car over the last few months... It's absolutely infuriating that people still choose to offload to traders with the market as it is. Seller has done himself out of a few grand.

Agree totally. A good and well-priced S1 Evora is not a difficult car to sell. Shows how much some folks hate the idea of private selling that they are willing to take the hit.FWIW said:

That’s a bit unfair to Will Blackham. He’s very reasonable.CharlieGee said:
I've only ever heard good things but I can't imagine he's given more than £25k for that. Seller could have moved that on to another enthusiast without any trouble at all. I really don't see what value traders offer on cars like these.
It will have been SoR @ ~£2k I imagine.CharlieGee said:

That’s a bit unfair to Will Blackham. He’s very reasonable.Having sold one I’m not sure I agree. In normal times they can take a long tome to sell, and despite being an “enthusiasts” car you will have to deal with a lot of clueless time wasters before you get a sensible buyer.
Even a cheap Evora is a lot of money and buyers are often looking for finance and the reassurance of a warranty IMHO even though/especially though the car is 10 years old.

Interesting last few posts as I have a rather good carbon grey ‘14 SR that I might be selling later this year. Bought from top dealer for top dollar because it felt right. I’m now working out how to progress to a macca or Elise 220 (odd directions I know). It’s immaculate and NOT 25k. Happy to converse with adults (pm me) otherwise I’m using dealer/specialist.
Looks like this one has gone as well. NA Sports Racer advertised at £38k.

I think the majority of sellers go through trade. It's just easier.Having said that I sold mine within 2 days of putting it on pistonheads. It wasn't perfect and I priced it accordingly but had a lot of interest and a very nice guy bought it over the phone.
Was it a faff selling it, yes a bit. Did I make thousands of pounds more than selling it to the trade. Yes.

As someone who is looking for a new car, it is frustrating to see a car go up for private sale then before you can even view it a trader has bought it, increased the price be £3k and then sold it the following week.
As frustrating as it is, it's only frustrating as you wanted the car. Maybe £3k isn't a lot of money to the seller and they just wanted rid of it.
Plus, when bank transferring £25k+ to a random person or even receiving, it's a daunting experience not knowing if either party is legit.
In terms of current prices, I am hoping in a month or two's time the prices are going to go through a correction and an Evora 400 may even come in to budget.
