Best owners forum

Coming from a VX220 which had a great forum, I'm struggling to find a decent Lotus one as there seems to be loads of them.

Which one should I sign up to?

Lots of owners on SELOC, mostly Elise/Exige but a growing number of Evora owners (myself included).

For an Evora owner I'd look at thelotusforums.com as there's more evora content on there than on SELOC.

The Lotus Forums has definitely got the busiest Evora section.

(SELOC is much more orientated towards Elises).

There are also lots of VX220 to Evora owners - Cocopops et al.

Thelotusforums is just an extension of the Lotus PR desk IMO. I've seen owners blackballed on there for daring to criticise the factory. Negates the whole idea of an internet forum tbh. Don't say that, don't say this.
Bravo chappy above is a mod on there, likes to think he's an opinion-former - certainly has plenty of time to spout plenty of guff.

I use the Lotus forums haven’t been banned for telling the truth.

I was warned of SELOC as few people have commented about infighting or some such nonsense.

SELOC is a bit of a boys club. As said more Elise/Exige.
TLF a bit more grown up and content more topic related.

I enjoy both and have “real world” friends from both.

TLF doesn’t stand for elongated arguments if they get personal. I have yet to see a banning that I didn’t see coming.

TLF has very useful factory contacts and Bibs has used these to help many members, self included.

Just ignore these threads, they are easily identified and a few isolated individuals.

SELOC Is just full of threads that criticise every single new Lotus release; concluding that a Porsche is better. The response to the 400 when announced was brutal. Lots of Evo readers on there me thinks.

TLF is much more positive and appreciative and more helpful to owners. A genuine Lotus enthusiast site I would suggest.
