I know an Evora is wider; however I think you need more space to get out of the Elise (with roof on).
Not in a million years. The doors on the Evora (presumably to assist with getting in the rear "seats" are much longer than the Elise and hence you have to open them far further to exit the car. Assuming you are talking about an S1 Evora, the sills are also little different to an Elise/Exige so you need to be able to open the door wide enough to swing the leg out over the front of those at the narrower part of the opening.

I'd certainly offer up a case of beers to a local owner to trial fit it. It's not a big car by any means, but the doors do need a bit of space and neither is it a small car.

I had the same issue when I was keen on a Noble some years ago. Mate brought his over and whilst on paper it would fit, there was no way you'd realistically be able to get out the car so would have had to push it away each time. Knocked the idea on the head and went down the Exige route until I had more space.

Specify a sunroof and then add monkey bars to the garage ceiling?

Unfortunately it won't fit. I have a 2010 NA and it goes in my single garage. The door is 2170 mm wide and the garage width is 2540 mm. I have a rubbing strip on the wall for the door, and have to park car very close to passenger side wall. It is still fairly tight getting in and out.

@OP, not a chance I’m afraid. Just measured mine to see what 2300cm would give you and you’d have a problem even if adopting the Dukes of Hazard method of entry/egress.

Nope. My old garage was 2300 and an Evora would not fit. A 993 and Boxster 987 would though.

New garage is 5m wide!
