I have only 2 issues with build quality on my 2014 car.

1. Use of steel mid flap brackets. Replaced mine with stainless for under £50.
2. A pillar trims can warp, but not too expensive to replace,

The rest is fine, in sports racer or premium spec there is lots of leather and no plastic. The 400 feels more plasticky. I prefer the interior of S1 cars over the 400, but I have always had the premium/sports racer spec.

My 2015 400 felt well put together, the build quality seems to improve the newer the car, no rattles on my 2019 Exige.

I have a 2013 Evora S, 105'000 KM, still first breaks, all works perfect, had to replace the backhood bumbers only, all the rest is original, no complaints, it runs like hell; anyhow: well entertained always and not exagerations.

I have an Elise and an Evora and honestly I should probably get rid of the Elise at this stage as I use it so little since I got the Evora.

Now I’m definitely not actually going to sell the Elise as it’s such an amazing little car but the Evora is just so much easier to live with and I certainly would recommend one to anyone thinking about getting one.

My only regret is that I didn’t get one sooner
