Back in an Evora after a short spell with a 996 GT3. That didn't work out as I thought it would. They aren't good cars ln my opinion. This Evora 400 is so much more fun to drive.

That's interesting, I've just sold my 997 GT3 to try something new and am considering an Evora. How did your 996GT3 and Evora compare?

Hi Bert, you had the high mileage 997 ? I would try one of these . They are way quick enough for our roads and that exhaust note is superb. Porsche guys will tell you otherwise.

The 996 was awful. Full of rattles and the ride was far to firm. Really hard to drive on b roads . The quality of the interior was poor also. I think the 997 was a big step up in all departments.

Yes, that's right. The 997 was very good indeed, but still pretty firm on undulating roads. I've done a couple of test drives in the Evora and really enjoyed it. I probably preferred the Exige, but there's not enough space in an Exige to go touring with Mrs Bert (assuming that's ever a thing again in the future!)
Cheers
