Is that the 410 from Bell & Covil? I nearly bought that once upon a time. Beautiful car but I'm biased
It was indeed! It was good value although not completely pristine. B&C fixed the bits that needed doing and did a great job of detailing and presenting it for when I collected though, it looked fantastic.I suspect it hadn’t been used much recently, it’s loosened up very nicely with a few hundred miles on it. Already stuck a set of GRP rear lights on it and have found a set of Recaros from an earlier car for the day to day so my wife doesn’t shoot me after the first time she sits in the carbon buckets. Only takes 10 mins to swap them when I want to do a track day.

Ah nice, photos?
I did have an Emira on order a while back, cancelled after the delivery delay fiasco. Did drive well on the road though.
This looks like good value (?)…

The colour with the black wheels do that no favours. Hard to tell from the few interior pics but the airbag cover is like a doorstep.I did have an Emira on order a while back, cancelled after the delivery delay fiasco. Did drive well on the road though.

Just gone back to an Evora after 2 years with my Emira as I never got over the disappointment when I drove it on track
The Emira has a more mainstream appeal (and bigger volumes to suit) but if you want an Evora you want an Evora.
The wife hates it and it’s back to slightly shonky build, rubbish wipers, dingy headlights and washer refill induced sciatica but f
k me is it spectacular to drive
Wipers and headlights etc .. any fixes/ upgrades for them ?The Emira has a more mainstream appeal (and bigger volumes to suit) but if you want an Evora you want an Evora.

I used to put PIAA silicon wipers on my old ones which lay down a RainX style hydrophobic film. Not cheap and don’t know if they’re still available but they were an improvement.Headlights I think you’re stuck with them as they are although maybe someone has done an LED upgrade for them or something

Never had any bother with either lights or wipers on my Evora 410GT, which was one of if not the very last one registered, so either his is bad, his expectations are mega, or there are improvements to be had out there.
I'd imagine it's as simple as decent wiper blades and bulbs.
I’m probably being a bit harsh on the lights, they’re a bit rubbish for HID but they’re perfectly fit for purpose. The problem is that the Emira LED lights were excellent by any standardsI'd imagine it's as simple as decent wiper blades and bulbs.
Wipers the early cars were poor, they all missed the edges of the screen, the jets were impossible to aim to hit the screen at both low and high speed, plus the wiper had a tendency to lift at high speeds and miss bits of the middle of the screen too
Perhaps they improved it on later cars, haven’t driven mine for long enough in the wet yet. Again, on the Emira they were excellent so it is a step backwards.
Not complaining, happy with my choice as I wanted a better drivers car, but for others making a decision it’s worth factoring in if you care more about the last fraction of ride and handling or about the practical stuff
Mine is a 2013, so S1 model but mature in the production run. New wiper blade 6 months ago and rainex every few weeks and I've no complaints about clearing the screen. I did 4k miles over the winter and had no issues with wiper or headlamps.
I keep forgetting just how good it is, until days like today when it just resolves a bumpy, twisty road. You don't think you are going fast, you are aware of the steering and suspension doing stuff, but everything is very composed. Then you realise that Tesla/RR Sport/hot Audi that you weren't trying to drop, you've left behind without breaking the speed limit....

Drove it in the wet and the dark last night, yeah wipers and lights were about as good as I remembered
Still love it though
