Can anyone help with my Spanish elec tarif ?

Bit of a long shot this chaps, and its not urgent but one of those nagging things, and I'd like your help please.

Our electricity sometimes trips because we are trying to use more power than our main fuse allows.
As I understand it, this main fuse is spec'd based on the tarrif you are on.

The electricity bill is here next to me and details from that are

Tarifa: 2.0.2
Potencia contratada: 3.3 kW

Photos of the fusebox and a close up of the main fuse are below
Can someone tell me if we have the correct fuse for the tarif we are paying for and how you work it out, because I can't tell.

Your help would be very much appreciated.

Not sure - but I think the pics you're showing are the fuse in the property. I think there's also one in the box with the meters in as when I have a main blow ( occasionally) the electriciado man always seems to tend to that - worth a look.

Correct the fuse you need to look at is where the main mater in to the house is.

Also the supply that you have at 3.3. is well low, I have just finished uprating my present house from 9.0kw to 16kw.
Camping sites tend to have the sort of power you have to individual pitches for motorhomes & caravans which is pretty low.

If you own the house you will need to take the Original Bulletin which was issued by the original electrical contractor along to the electricity supplier or get your electrical contractor to take it along to get the system uprated, but whatever you do you will need the Original Bulletin, which I think is pink.

i have a lowly 3.3kw(pathetic compared to uk)there should be 2 main fuses in the metre box outside your property(your photo is the consumer unit)and likely as not they will be 30's,go buy yourself 80's for about €30 ansd swop them.much les likely to trip out and no probs here doing this-hope this helps.cheers

Thanks guys, I wasn't expecting to hear there are fuses outside. So now it all makes a bit more sense.
I'm out there in 3 weeks so I'll have a look, let you know what I find.

Can be dodgy, depending on how old the house is and the wiring if it is not fairly new and up to date then you are creating another fire hazard.

Thankfully, although the house is old, we gutted it a couple of years and had all the electrics replaced. I can't speak for the feed into the house but the rest of it is all good.

thats a new consumer unit so obviously the property is either newish or been re-wired.iberdrola will also upgrade your incoming kw for a fee.

You may just have to upgrade the cabling / feed into the house and then whoever your electrician is who did the rest of your work can upgrade the fuses then take your bolletin to the supplier Iberdrola/Endesa or whoever and get a new one issued for you which is the normal way of doing it legally.
