Uggggghh, we didn't help ourselves in the first half by gifting them two goals. But the second half could easily have been a fairytale comeback. Some great saves by Donnarumma kept them ahead (on ag). Some good attacking from us. Some great goals from us. Class from Super John McGinn. Rashford looked dangerous.
PSG are a very good and very dangerous team. Would not be surprised if they went on to win it. But we did ourselves proud and Villa Park was absolutely rocking. We will have learned and grown a lot from this. Let's hope we can qualify again for next season. Big game against Newcastle now.
Fingers crossed for the FA Cup.

Massively proud of the boys to get this far - I don't think anyone realistically expected us to be gracing the quarter finals in our first return in decades.
As above, I think the (relatively) soft third goal away really sealed our fate, but then again the huge deficit at half-time last night really forced us to go s
t or bust, to great effect.
Wayne Rooney was jabbering on in the post-match commentary that we should have parked the bus for 70 minutes then tried to nick two goals.
Against PSG.
What an absolute clown. No wonder Unai Emery is one of the best managers in European football and Wayne Rooney is a granny-shagging alcoholic who takes every team he touches to the point of oblivion.

All Rooney was on about is getting Rashford back to Man U and it’s what everyone wants to see.As above, I think the (relatively) soft third goal away really sealed our fate, but then again the huge deficit at half-time last night really forced us to go s

I mean come on the night wasn’t about Man U but christ it may as well been The overlap
I’ve finally reflected on yesterday and it was a fantastic day until the football started. We were atrocious on the pitch and we didn’t get a single chant going in the stands.
Beers pre-game and atmosphere all round was glorious on a sunny day down in London. Lots of familiar and friendly faces and interactions. My son and his mates all had their first experiences of Wembley too and had a couple cheeky ciders to celebrate.
I was block 112 in the safe standing and even in that area the chants could not get going.
