We faltered a bit yesterday. Bong had a howler and Stockade had to be accountable for Reading's first goal.
It's the first game that I've seen this season and it does seem as though we're carrying on where we left off last term. Let's hope that it lasts.
Big game next Saturday against the Toon, who finally seem to have got their season going. (Shame we couldn't have played them a couple of weeks ago.........)

Dont think we are playing as well as we can atm but sitting nicely in 3rd so cant complain
I was at both games last week and after the abysmal match against Reading, Saturday's performance against Barnsley was very good. Even Bong had a decent game. We kept Barnsley quiet and prevented their "trademark" breakaway goals and even managed to score one ourselves. Our first goal was an excellent example of how to score on the counter-attack. Another tough test tonight at Ipswich given that we'll be missing Kayal. Let's hope that CH comes up with a suitable mid-field partner for Stephens. Not sure which of Norwood or Siddy is going to be best?
Yes, first half on Saturday Fulham played well and pushed up on us to stop us playing. Hoots must have had a good half time talk because we were much better in the second half. Great goal from Baldock and a well worked second goal from Murray (made by Baldock).
Once again this Saturday, the Championship proves that any team can beat any other team and no one can afford to be complacent.

Still a long way to go yet. Let's hope that we don't choke before the fat lady sings..........
Hoots has built a tremendous team spirit in the time he's been there and I believe that will carry us through. The team want it for themselves, Hoots and the fans.
Having the Cardiff game postponed isn't going to help us as it's going to be a bugger fitting that in to the schedule. Plus, our home game against the Toon, scheduled for FA Cup 4th round day, is also likely to be postponed as I don't see both of us getting knocked out in the 3rd round games on Saturday.
Kiss of death there, then...........

Good win last night against "massive" Wednesday.
Thought it was curtains when they were awarded the penalty and Murray was sent off. Reckoned without Stocko and the team spirit. Great team performance and makes up for the disappointment of travelling up to Preston last Saturday to get dicked 0-2.
Cardiff on Tuesday. Let's hope there's no fog this time. I don't fancy another 300 mile round-trip to not watch a game...........

Not a good day at the office on Saturday, although the trip to Lincoln was good fun.
Should have had the game sewn up in the first half, but didn't.
Then a penalty, an own goal and a gift saw Lincoln on their way!
Good luck to them in the next round. I hope they get a good draw.
Im hoping we do too!Should have had the game sewn up in the first half, but didn't.

Taking away the penalty, we still deserved to win, your only threat was Murray but as soon as he got clocked by the ref for being a dirty git he wasnt throwing himself at the floor or our boys.......
Wasnt the dirtiest git on pitch though, your boy Adekugbe goes down as one of the dirtiest players ive seen at the bank in many a year
