That was a good way to end the season, with a win at Burnley. First time since 2013.
Mind you, I thought that Stephens was lucky to get away with that penalty shout in the first half. Can't believe the ref didn't give it.
Let's hope we can achieve "mid-table mediocrity" next season, instead of having to be on the cusp of the bottom three again

Well, the transition to Potter from Hughton has been done and stayed up, so that's a success.
Now, Potter has a summer (or part of!) to get more of his type of players in, Lallana looks like he'll be here soon. White returns from Leeds, so that's 2 decent signings and the season only ended yesterday! Alzate should be back from injury too.
Need that elusive striker to replace Murray though!!!
Should do better this coming season I would think (hope!).

Roy Hodgson has always been a very lucky manager imho. He's lucky that football management isn't like medicine or law or many other occupations, where and act of catastrophic negligence can have you struck off, and not be allowed to work in the industry ever again. Because if it was, he'd have been barred from being a manager ever again after the Iceland debacle.
Plus he's an arrogant pr1ck. The press conference after the Iceland game when he had already resigned.... "I'm not sure why I'm here".
Errrr...that'll be because you were on £3m a year to manage England and we've just been humiliated by a nation with the population of Oxford Street on a Saturday.
