I believe it's a combination of a few things.

- Date change due to Euros, bringing forward final.
- Therefore clashes with Prem fixtures at 3pm on that day.
- The FA are tts.
But they've moved all but 1 game to the sunday? I feel it also has something to do with the sponsors being budweiser and want it shown later for the americans over the pond. Agree 100% with the FA being a set of tts.

Very bizarre goal in Serie A last night. 93rd minute and someone in the crowd blows a whistle for full time. The Lazio players stop but the Udinese players don't and go on and score!

I couldn't watch that vid on mobile but watched the incident and they show footage of the ref and at no point does he have the whistle near his face.

Very strange and lucky it didn't change the result.

Am I being thick or have I missed something, but the BBC website has the FA Cup final down as a 17:15 kick-off.

Whatever happened to the traditional 3pm start? When the fook did this change, and which tt-hole made that decision?

For fookety-fook's sake, is nothing sacred any more?
Its bks. The Cup Final has always been a 3pm kick off no matter what. A 5.15 kick off just ups the potential for trouble as it gives the 'fans' another 2 hours in the pub - & we all know that football & alcohol doesnt always mix well so the risk factor increases.

Sadly the FA, along with most other organisations these days, have had their heads turned by the promise of a big cheque to fk about with someone sacred.

What next? No singing of Abide With Me because some knob with a clipboard has decided it might offend a non-christian somewhere?

FFS. Leave the kick off time alone - it should always be a 3.00pm kick off.

yes

I have some friends in the force and they are furious about it, although one of them loves a good ruck so he is quite chuffed smile

Normally I'd be annoyed, but since I finish work at 4:30 on Saturday it actually suits me rather well.

Player in Norwegian fifth division sent off for protesting against being awarded a penalty

Video technology has to be on the way soon. This is getting silly.
