All three of them at it tonight. Fabulous finishes from Suarez and Lionel.

The Arse got it right up the arse, although I thought they did OK in truth.

He managed to do it on a cold wet night in Barca at least.

The whole team seems to be going through a bit of a bad patch at the minute.

End of the world averted by 0-8 away win. The only thing I can't get is that, in theory, there aren't many teams poorer than current Depor, in theory.

To quit at this age (he only turned 29 a few days ago) is dissapointing. Why not carry on and fight to win something with your national side?

Surprised by this too, but he's not used to losing finals at club level. Last night will really have hurt. Maybe a heat of the moment thing, but doubt he'll come back.

Messi will go down as one of the best ever, who couldn't take a penalty. God knows how many he's missed now.

Also just read on Twitter, Mascherano, Aguero, Higuain and Lavezzi have all retired too.

I'd imagine the flying for all the internationals starts to grate after a while too. Even on your private jet.

Potentially that leaves Argentina screwed then for a while.

Somthing must be seriously wrong with the national set up when you have several 28-29 year olds retiring from the national side. Even Mascherano and Lavezzi are relatively young.

So, Messi has been found guilty of tax fraud and been sentenced to 21 months prison.

No, really.

https://www.theguardian.com/football/2016/jul/06/l...

Yet, he's not expected to actually serve any of it. Huh?

Guardian seeming to suggest that any sentence under 2 years in Spain is not actually served in prison.
