That Little Genius…
Discussion
Gary Barlow, Jimmy Carr & that Moyles chap get a slap on the wrists in the UK.
His royal tatooness David B gets a tax dodge more or less named after him in Spain.
Messi, who plays for a team in the wrong part of Spain and is likely no more or less culpable than the above gets a stretch (which even the establishment in Spain balked at actually going through with, in a moment of eek). Entirely coincidental who he plays for.
Messi doing slightly more than more or less every footballer of note on this front (and quite possibly every bit as much as some) is small beer compared to lots of other things that go on. Seriously dodgy El Presidente, financial encouragements and so on.

Went to watch barça yesterday and the little genius had the trots so we didn't see him play. As Suarez was banned for totting up offences it was interesting to watch as Malaga parked the bus for 95 mins. Barça just couldn't score.
This against 9 men in the end, gotta love the Latin temperament!
Great venue
Though strangely a really nice family atmosphere. Not sure what I was expecting but polite applause was the order of the day with lots of kids/full families filling the stadium (80 odd thousand there yesterday).
I'd certainly go often if it was my local team.

Yes, I'll echo all that - went to the Celta Vigo match last Valentine's Day - great atmosphere ( Barça had a bit of a beating at the earlier away fixture so we're out to make amends )This against 9 men in the end, gotta love the Latin temperament!

I think there were just over 70,000 at that one
So much cheaper than a Premier League match too
Watched a bit of Barca this season, and thought Messi was starting to look like he was slowing down - losing a bit of his speed and dribbling skills.
Just watching the espanol game, and in just a few minutes, he has just performed 2 incredible dribbles to set up 2 goals. Reminded me of the old 'Messi is a dog' video on YT.
Neymar's produced some sublime dribbles tonight too. And Suarez has 2 goals (for 48 in 2017). Superb football to watch.

I used pick out La Liga games to watch regularly 4-5 years ago but I go through phases getting easily bored watching full games. I don't support anyone, just 'follow' whichever teams have the players I like, so I'll put the odd english or CL/EL etc. game on stream when I feel like it. I realised the other day I haven't seen Barcelona play with this front 3.
Involvement in that 2nd and 3rd goal and Iniesta too on the 2nd.
I don't know if anyone was watching it on Bein, was that Chris Waddle on the highlights I saw? They were good, but he needs to calm down a bit
