The Official Arsenal Thread (Volume2)

That was a classic Arsenal loss....inept goalkeeping combing with inept defending (Santos) to give away a goal that should never have been conceeded. Norwich then defended really well. They looked like a team that has been drilled for the last two weeks during the intl break and we looked like a team that thought we could just turn up and stroll it.
well after 7 years of winning nothing, being happy with losing, buying average players, playing ineffective systems, being paid £7m a season for the privilege and losing the talent in the squad. wouldn't you have also run out of excuses lol?
hopefully this is his last season, hes stale as old bread.

I don't like to over react after one defeat, but that really was a st performance yesterday. I don't think anyone really expected the Arse to challenge for the title this season but to be essentially out of the running by mid October (again) is so damn frustrating. Roll on a good run in the Carling Cup or whatever it's called these days.
One ray of sunshine is that apart from the clear top three there isn't a team that looks dead on to grab fourth spot, but there could be a battle to grab that from the likes of Spurs, Everton etc.
It's a bit worrying when Theo Walcott is looking like the clubs best bet for a consistent goal scorer this season! May as well play him up front, Giroud needs more time and should earn his place from the bench for the foreseeable future and Gervinho is never going to be a consistent scoring striker. Bring back in Chamakh anyone? (only joking)
