Great first leg result. Standout result of the qualifiers. These are tough games.

Awesome result. Listened on the radio, now looking fwd to the TVs highlights now. So received they got a fourth as there's always that chance of Celtic ballsing up and losing 3-0 away!

The stats don't reflect the game. Only officially 3 shots on target in the 5 goals, but there was 2 really bad misses and a few more good chances on top of that.

Astana missed a good header, but not much more than that.

5-0 is a record score in the play offs.

Those were some predictable developments at Astana! At least the knack of finding the net seems to remain intact. Over all, over two legs, and with the own goals and deflections, Celtic had pure good luck as a very helping hand.

You make your own luck as they say. If you get in behind teams and get in the position to shoot these things happen. Nobody made any deal about Astana's lucky bounces. It's football.

How many sitters were missed over the two games? It could have been 7 or 8 at Celtic Park.

Tonight it was cruise control the entire first half. Numerous very good chances missed again. 65%+ possession in both games and more attempts tonight than Astana. Only six fouls as nobody was challenging. It was just going through the motions. The players turned off and got caught out. It took a while to get some control of the game, but the game wasn't really in danger.

The makeshift defence was really poor tonight, but Astana were always 3 goals away. It was never really that close before running out winning with Astana needing 5. Not often a team wins by such a margin and with such stats for the game to be called close.

Squeaky bum time all right!
The fact we had our 3 first choice centre halfs unavailable didn't help.

Still £30million will help balance the books. biggrin

Gianluigi Buffon, what a legend!

"I want to test myself at the Bernabeu and Camp Nou again, I want to play in another special evening game at Old Trafford. I want to experience the electric atmosphere of Celtic Park once more."

It would be wonderful to have him visit one last time.

As a Dons fan, I really hope Celtic get a decent draw and stand a chance of getting out of the group. A good campaign will do wonders for our co-efficient and benefit all Scottish clubs in Europe.

The draw could have been much kinder. Can only dream of getting a group like Man Utd or City.

Neymar will be a popular visitor again.

3rd has to be the aim. I'm sure we can beat Anderlecht to that spot. They have had a terrible start to their league campaign. Anything from the other two would be a bonus.

So this is it, PSG. Hopefully we'll manage a goal and keep it respectable overall

You'll do well to keep it to single figures, but best of luck anyway.

0-3 already and someone has just run onto the pitch and tried to boot Mbappe,

Big trouble for Celtic.

Absolutely disgraceful behaviour running onto the park and trying to kick Mbappe, should have made the lifetime ban worthwhile and choked that little Neymar.

A Celtic fan has admitted invading the pitch and assaulting a Paris Saint Germain player during Celtic's 5-0 defeat in the Champions League.
Twenty-one-year-old John Hatton, from Belfast, jumped over a metal railing and ran on to the pitch at Celtic Park on Tuesday night.
He assaulted PSG forward Kylian Mbappe by attempting to kick him.
Hatton was granted bail and sentence was deferred until 11 October for background reports.
Tesco worker Hatton also pled guilty to behaviour likely to incite public disorder by approaching the French striker.
