Word on the street is that Shebbi's back in town and will run the show until the end of the season, presumably Shaw will take his turn at gardening leave or stroking his cat or whatever thes fk knuckles do when they're not destroying football clubs. The Venkys won't invest any more the Appleton pay off has insured his silence and was costly, and they're looking to sell the club on now.

A couple of suitors are rumoured to be sniffing around, one being Iilyas Khan, accy lad turned good, saviour of Stanley and a fella I personally have a lot of time for, based on the little I know about him anyway.

The other is a couple of Hong Kong based business men who I don't know anything about.

Needless to say it'll be an omnishambles until the end, but the end may be in sight.

ilyas khan wont buy it himself - he's not got the funds to do a big club like rovers - maybe as part of a consortium?

LUFC owners are becoming available *L*

from what insiders are rovers are saying is that shebby went to india - said that appleton's playing style was the worst all season - venky's came agreed and sacked.

Well the Arsenal game aside Appleton's brand of football was pretty dire (from what I saw), given the strike rate we had previous to him turning up and during his tenure it's clear he wasn't into attack minded positive football, so in isolation the decision to sack him was probably not that dramatic.

Obviously it wasn't in isolation.

But Shebbi is a complete tool, infact he's a 96 piece socket set with extender bar and wheel box. He'd never spoken to Appleton or any of the other new staff, he arrived on a plane yesterday morning went straight to Brockhall left a letter on Appleton's desk got back in his car and started to call the media to tell everyone Appleton had been sacked before Appleton even knew (I have that on good authority). You won't hear him complain because the cash will buy his silence but the list of managers now willing to work a Blackburn will be shorter than Shebbi Singh's undoubtly tiny cock.

In my opinion Boywer will be manager for the foreseeable and the club will be sold on in the summer for whatever the Venkys can get, I just hope it goes to Iilyas Khan's consortium

R5L did a fairly indepth analysis of the situation on the Monday Night Club yesterday...

http://www.bbc.co.uk/iplayer/episode/b01rg13z/5_li...

8 minutes in Shebbi gives it large and then fast forward to 1:10:0 for a deeper insight into the mind of a madman.

It's worth noting that bothe Shaw and Agnew are taking 6 figure salarys for the board positions and are as equally culpable for the disgraceful situation, but they do have the sense to keep stum, unlike Shebbi.

Could it be!?

http://www.independent.co.uk/sport/football/footba...

could it be the turning of a point?

independent said:
Shebby Singh, the self-styled "global adviser" of Blackburn Rovers, who has presided over the farcical decline of the club in the last 12 months, is likely to be dismissed by the Indian bosses who hired him, The Independent understands.

Although Singh indicated last night that Anuradha Desai, the matriarch of the Venky's chicken empire of which Rovers are a subsidiary company, has not told him she intends to fire him, the TV mogul's tenure at Rovers appears over. This follows a Championship season which saw the club get through three managers, finish 17th and only avoid relegation on the penultimate Saturday. The Indians appear finally to be acknowledging that they need astute, experienced people from within football at the top of the club, rather than agents or moguls like Singh.

Sad to see Blackburn go down another division - when the chicken tycoon owners sacked big Sam Blackburn were a mid table EPL side. And now this......
