Bad day, we finish 4th (not that bad) and Man Citeh buy the league grumpy

Bit annoyed at the press etc getting excited over them doing it too, bad day for English football IMO.
Actually, it was one of the greatest days for English football in my opinion.
Seriously? Wow.

It is nice to see a different name on the trophy, but not not in the manner in which they have done it.

It must feel good losing to the worst Arsenal team in 30 years despite having the best spuds team in 30 years.

I remember how some (not all, I may add) were hyping yourselves up when you had the large gap over Arsenal. You had thought that you'd finally crept out from under Arsenal's shadow.

The numerous 'mind the gap' posts, the mickey taking....oh my.

rofl

Brilliant season, Spurs!!! Better than last year (progress), displaced a money team from the top 4. So close to the best finish for years. Excellent!!
st for a few weeks near the end, but it just goes to show how st Arsenal were to let us get the lead!! LOL!!

Thanks all of you for the kind wishes, by the way.
Mum's had the top of her femur pinned and is already being encouraged to stand on it!
She's nearly 84, by the way, so it's never going to be easy. She was run down by a car on the pavement about 15 years ago, though, so she's used to being in the wars...

Well, I'll be cheering on Chelsea. It is a good thing to have a Britiah team win it, as it will retain the 'rank' the prem has, (I think).

What!! 2-1 down in injury time and winning 3-2. Seemed like a good way to do it to me.

You really must try and get over foolishly turning Abramovich away. I know it must be like a non stop episode of Bullseye... (Jim Bowen voice)"here's what you could have won, 3 league titles, 4 FA Cups, and countless European adventures...but I'm sorry...take them back to West London". But you sent him packing, so live with it.

Have to say I agree with Ferg - as well as best wished for Mrs Ferg Sr. Great season, dip notwithstanding. Football fans are fickle & cursed with amnesia. Most of us yids have forgotten being 3-0 up at half time against Utd, or Santini's glorious reign or even the footballing giant Ian Walker.

Being a Spurs fan is about managing expectations & this year's exceeded mine by miles. slipping to fourth & seeing Chelsea lose in Munich would be the sweetest coda. Roll on the final.

I'm sure he meant because Wigan stay up, surely he's not that interested in where the title goes. That would be silly.

I don't mind that. I balance it out with 2-3 mugged off down the library. And oh, hang on a minute, 2-1 down the lane. rofl

Lets look on the bright side, we are now almost a permanent member of the Top 4. Thats twice in the last 3 years and on the occassion we missed out we were 5th.

I can think of 1 teams fans that would give their right bks to be able to say that yes

Lets just pray Bayern do the bizzo. I can't begrudge Arsenal 3rd, we massively screwed up and they took advantage, something we can't seem to do. They were lucky we did though as we were out of sight for a while.

Can't congratulate Citeh though, anyone can throw money at a club and win titles and the success has bugger all to do with City pre 2008, it could just as easily been Bolton or Sunderland ffs.

Other than that a good season, I would have took 4th at the start although 4th without CL qualification and the ramifications that will bring don't bear thinking about.

You guys need to by a top drawer striker and make sure you don't lose any of your star players to United/Citeh etc.

Bright future for spurs I thinkey.

Oh, what do you want to do with Arry & Ade now?
