Brilliant season, Spurs!!! Better than last year (progress), displaced a money team from the top 4. So close to the best finish for years. Excellent!!
st for a few weeks near the end, but it just goes to show how st Arsenal were to let us get the lead!! LOL!!

Thanks all of you for the kind wishes, by the way.
Mum's had the top of her femur pinned and is already being encouraged to stand on it!
She's nearly 84, by the way, so it's never going to be easy. She was run down by a car on the pavement about 15 years ago, though, so she's used to being in the wars...
Ferg, glad to hear your Mum is doing well.

Spurs were excellent this season until the last few weeks, you deserve top 4.

I havent changed my opinion, Im cheering for Bayern on sat!

Cheers, good to see football as a game still betters rivalry or success bought with cash. Well done on getting 3rd and for the record I hope you keep RVP as I'm enjoying our teams becoming more evenly matched.

I still reserve the right to rip you to shreds if he leaves and podolski becomes a proper Rebrov

Well done Spurs considering what we had to put up with the last year

Speculation concerning Modric last summer
Tottenham Riots
Harrys Court case
Loaning out players who should have been in our squad
Harrys England speculation by the press
Muambas Heart failure at WHL and the emotional overspill
Harrys failure to win the England job

I do believe we would have easily retained 3rd spot if it was not for the above .

Well done Arsenal - although we did get into a great position for 3rd - all we had to do is to beat Villa and Fulham ( yet another strange decision by Harry not to bring on Defoe !!! )

Not to mention 'Arry's dodgy ticker & a raft of really poor refereeing decisions against us.

Meanwhile, over in Manchester...

Overall, a very good season. With any luck, Bayern at home will beat Chelsea. Then, it will have been an excellent season.

Until we ge knocked out in the qualifying round. Indeed, I'm already concerned about us reachig 40 points in the 2012-13 season.

T'was ever the same.

TO be fair to Arsenal (and Im not taking the piss though it will sound like I am) I think they have done extraordinarily well. In the space of 3 seasons they have had all thier top players bought from under them, they have spent badly and bought a crock of st. A third of the way into the season they looked like relegation contenders with a 2nd rate side and they have managed to turn the season around and finish third.

As much as we're supposed to hate them, we aren't that dissimilar in many ways and I can't help just slightly admiring what they have managed to achieve under the circumstances. I still believe that the Spurs team is significantly better position for position than Arsenal, so you can't really fault thier performance over the season

GIven the amount of praying I did for this, as far as I am concerned the fact that he managed a full season and scored 40 goals is prove positive of the non-existence of God

The sooner he's off to Spain the better.

A very fair summing up.

In some ways we are very similar in that both sets of fans now expect our teams to fk it up. hehe

In the spirit of harmony we should now join forces to support Bayern.

I am moved by this humble entente cordiale between two traditionally fierce rivals. On behalf of Liverpool fans everywhere I humbly request that we may join you in support of FC Bayern.

Well, it could be argued that Arsenal are dangerously reliant on one player, Flasher. Had he not been in record breaking form all season long, you'd be nowhere near third.

I can't see another seriously dangerous player in your line-up. We have several. For now.
