After a bright start, it's a shame this has tailed off for SIlva and resulted in his demise, but sounds like some of his decision-making was badly flawed ... great with hindsight or did he not learn from previous errors?

My Ipswich-supporting mate would love someone like him at Portman Road, just for the initial excitement ... never going to happen hough, I think they have Dull McCarthy for life (a life sentence he says)

He is known for building teams from the back. As much as I enjoyed the start of the season, I'm looking forward to closing the door at the back!
Can’t argue with that, especially looking at our goal difference!

How many coaches do you think the Pozzos have actually sacked?

Marco Silva had agreed terms with Everton behind Watford's back after only 9 games and planned on taking Andre Carrillo from Watford to Everton in the January Transfer Window. Times

Assuming that's true, then it was inevitable to replace him. Looking forward to Garcia organising a strong defence and getting us back to winning.

I'd just like to thank Mike Dean hehe

Deulofeu was simply brilliant. Lovely to see someone working so hard.

No idea why he was deemed surplus to requirements at Everton ... fans like to see players with fast, tricky feet running at defenders ... it's called entertainment. This new manager seems to want to play positive football ...

Having watched almost every match this season I'm really not sure where that came from.

Manager got the tactics spot on, mimicking Chelsea's formation and preventing their wing backs from rampaging. Our midfield hasn't played like that since the early days of the season when we were rampant.

I was fearing the worst as Chelsea started to dominate possession and Hazard scored that great solo goal. And then THAT happened. Not sure where it came from, and don't care.
