So Gary Bowyer is the next fool to take the Blackpool managers seat.

He's had experience working with one bunch of fools at Blackburn, so lets see how he gets on with the Oystons.
So, I suppose I'll have to give some credit to Bowyer. He's got us to 7th in the league and past Luton in the play-off semis to get us to the play-off final.

We've reached the play-offs 8 times now. This will be our 7th final in the play-offs and going for our 5th win in them.

As hard as it is I'll not be going. I said I wouldn't being going to a Blackpool game if any monies would go to the club (Oystons). I've been to all the semis and finals from our previous appearances so Its been a killer not going to this weeks games and missing the final but I made a vow 2 years ago to be a NAPM (Not A Penny More) until the Oystons f**k off.

Couple of absolute belting League Two play off games last night.
You can't beat the drama of these games.

Fylde won the Natinal League North, so only one league below Blackpool now assuming we don't win the play-offs. When the owner took over Fylde he set the target of being in the football league by 2022. He may just manage it ahead of schedule.

I paid no attention to the L2 play offs due to finishing 8th but just looked at results and both had 11 goals over aggregate....clap

I support Luton and was there last night, I had a bad feeling before the game but that was a brutal way to go out. We only have ourselves to blame over the two legs with silly mistakes costing us. A few additions over the summer in key areas and I think we'll push for top 3, would rather avoid the play offs, have seen us lose 2 finals and 3 semi finals over the years.

Feel for the Blackpool fans, I can fully sympathise with having owners destroying the club, a trip to Wembley should be something to look forward to but they've ruined that.

Did not know they had a team. Great gran lived in Poulton-Le-Fylde so spent many summers up around Fleetwood , Knott End on sea etc. Always had a soft spot for Fleetwood town for that reason. Will now keep an eye on Fylde too smile

AIUI, the Blackpool fans boycotting the Oyston regime have temporarily loaned out their allegiance to Fylde en-masse, hence my ask.

Time for a 10 week bump ,back into the swing of things.

Oh ,Colchester lost 3-1 to Accrington.

As we were first loser ,outside the play offs in L2 ,maybe we can go 1 place better for a chance at promotion ?

Isn't the rule that if you lose the play-off final you go up automatically next year (please!).

We got a 1-1 draw away at Scunny. Although by the sounds of it we should have won it. I suspect that will be the theme of our season and finish up 5th from bottom!

I didn't look at any other results until I watched goal rush thing on ch5.

Oh dear Mart.

What annoyed me was the voice over for Crewe game, the first line she said was mentioning that Chris Porter scored 16 times for Colchester last season, scored twice already for his new club.

I thought he'd gone to Lincoln,misread somewhere.......confused

I see the Yeovil fans who travelled to the game got a refund from the club.

Donny at Blackburn tomorrow looks tough. I wanted to take the boy to that fixture for his first away game but we've got something on. And I'm going on an all-day session to Wimbledon on the train in a fortnight so no chance of a pass out.
