Same here, best season since European qualification under Hughes.
I think we will struggle in the Championship at first, but in Tony we Trust and "with Mulgrew and the back and Dack in attack, we're Blackburn Rovers, we're on our way back.
Can't wait for the Oxford game, although will be sat there we one eye on the Wigan result.
Oxford fans are looking to party too, your lot going up and our lot staying up, should be a good atmosphere.I think we will struggle in the Championship at first, but in Tony we Trust and "with Mulgrew and the back and Dack in attack, we're Blackburn Rovers, we're on our way back.

Not to be for Argyle last night.
Still, to finish higher than the other two who came up with us, especially League Champions Pompey (!) I'm very happy with how our season panned out.
On the other hand, with the way our luck has been, I wouldn't rule out Rochdale putting three past Charlton on Saturday and us Putting four past Gillingham. I can dream, can't I?

About three or four weeks ago I thought you were nailed on for the play-offs, you've been on such a run since that (for us) hilarious start to the season, but I think you picked the wrong time to have a bit of a wobble. I'm glad not just for the obvious reasons but it's now a massive incentive to go up, especially after we shot ourselves in the foot quite handsomely at Stevenage on Saturday.Still, to finish higher than the other two who came up with us, especially League Champions Pompey (!) But I think we'll still be L2 next season - we surely can't get to Wembley every time we get in the play-offs.
Injuries did for us at the start of the season, Ryan Taylor was a huge miss, and it showed again over the last few games. Not to mention how many goalkeepers we've got through....
Sadly I have to agree with you Antony, L2 for Exeter again next season. I predict Lincoln will beat you in the knockout stages with Notts County going up.

Roll on Thursday morning when the fixtures schedule will be released, and season kicking off on August 3rd
Although, to be honest, I'm not holding out much hope for this season. We've let many players go (mostly good performers) and have not really signed anyone yet
Last season was tough enough as it was!

Each L1 club ranked by away fans for atmosphere, etc. My own lot ranked 8th. And nice to see Pompey on top Ironically to whom we are away to in the 1st round of the Carabao Cup!

Interesting info on club budgets; admittedly from 2 seasons ago; but still a pretty fair reflection. Not really a surprise to see us top of the list; so in principle punching above our weight. Found it via @KieranMaguire on Twitter. Some really interesting stuff on there: https://twitter.com/kieranmaguire/status/100410238...
Next season will be interesting for Exeter, a rebuilding season after our fragile ego’d princess of a manager fked off to MK Franchise taking the club captain with him.
Bless the poor dear conveniently forgetting in all his ‘woe is me’ complaints that he was served notice on his contract when the club were bottom of the football league having not won a home game in 12 months.
Thankfully he seems to have been replaced by a popular chap in a former captain and club coach so there is some optimism afoot, along with some cash to spend for a change.

Oyston stills owns Blackpool, so only a passing interest. Let a lot of players go, offered contracts to a few to stay (not sure if any have signed yet), and signed 4 or 5, but haven't a clue who they are.
The old goat is still owner even after being told he has to pay £32m to his fellow shareholder (effectively buy his shares) back in November, Used every trick in the book to delay everything, but they are back in court (Thursday) for a 'orders for sale' hearing for reserves being fixed on 24 properties and 6 companies of Oystons.

The Oystons might be the weirdest, and almost certainly are the worst, people in UK sport.
Everything is to be auctioned, including Oystons shares in Sagasta (the parent company that owns the property side of BFC and the shares in the Football team side of BFC), also his shares in a company that owns a load of land on the outskirts of Blackpool that has planning permission for 1600 houses. Both of these need to be put in front of the judge before sale can be completed for the Judges approval.
Reserve prices to be at 75% of valuation.

So we're welcoming Jordan210 and his Coventry team to Kingsmeadow for our 1st home game on the 11th
Us starting with Scunny and yourselves will be a good test of how Robins has recruited across the summer. Hoping we’ll still have McNulty and Bayliss in our ranks now that Maddison has moved to the Prem and we’ve had a little windfall from his sale that will hopefully enable us to improve a few contracts to keep some of our key players.
Interesting little piece of info, showing how far L1 supporters will have to travel to away games this season.

Good riddance. How many weeks do you reckon he'll last ...... considering the history that Wanman has with managers
Once they realize that beyond the façade of fancy cravats and perceived style there is little substance and a reluctance to take any responsibility for the teams failure I suspect they'll turn on him. Winklepicker doesn't have the best record for hanging on to managers long term either does he?Shame really, frankly he should be viewed as a legend at Exeter City guiding the team to two promotions, 4 playoff finals and the highest finishing position in the clubs history.
But his attitude and contempt for the supporters along with his negativity, strange tactical choices and arrogance mean many are very happy to see the back of him.
Apparently Perriman was the power behind the throne at Exeter. Now he has gone, I see nothing but a relegation dogfight there.
My early prediction will be two of Morecambe, Forest Green or Exeter to go down,
I see Franchise Utd going up again. They seem to have plenty of cash, and Tisdale likes spending when he can.

Wasn't trying to be a wind up Ant. How are you by the way?
How do you genuinely feel about Exeter's prospects this coming season then?
Tisdale, because he's been there so long is going to be a hard act to follow (love him or hate him) because the whole club will be used to his way of working. Not sure bring the relatively inexperienced Taylor in is going to be a success. Didn't work at Argyle with Fletcher (ok, slightly different circumstances) but I guess he's cheap.
I'll have a pint (virtual or otherwise) that Taylor is not the Gaffer come the end of the season.
