I feel your pain brother.

It's not much better in South West Devon.

The only crumb of comfort is we can chortle at the wheels coming off Exeter City's League winning season once again. Except Moxey will be along in a bit with no sense of humour and full of venom.
I'm in two minds about Argyle's fortunes. If you continue doing poorly, they might sack Adams and then Wy would probably go for it, given the fact he's from Plymouth. But I read/heard the other day that Adams only recently signed a five year deal, so maybe you're stuck with him.

Now that’s irony right there ^

I’m happy where we are both on and off the pitch this season and confident that if we don’t stay in the play-off positions we won’t be far off come May. I’m not sure you can say the same for the team you support.

I'm confident we will still be in the league above you. That is all that matters to me.

And Plymouth fans say the rivalry means nothing to them!

Your post above not only shows that to be nonsense but also how small time you actually are if the limit of your aspirations is to be above a small provincial side that’s never been beyond the bottom two divisions.

Apologies, you misunderstand - it was how I put it.

As long as we are still league 1 is all that matters to me. I couldn't care less where Exeter finish.

That makes you even more small time than your previous post if all you’re interested in is L1 survival. How quaint for the South West’s sleeping giant.

To be honest, for this current season I'd be over the moon with L1 survival frown

And even more so if Franchise stayed in L2 too

Agreed. Although it is quite satisfying to see what their manager can do with a decent budget for once.

I hope they stay down though. Better still go bankrupt and cease to exist.

Can I just interrupt and do a bit of gloating? Pompey continue to confound me because we keep on winning but we really, really aren't that good! Then again, 8 wins and 2 draws from ten away games in L1 is exceptional. Full marks to Kenny Jackett and the coaching staff at Fratton, and let's keep it going lads.
I'll just enjoy it while it lasts...........

Top of L2 still confusing,Colchester have a draw and gain one place.
It's still bizarre how Newport can be so high up with a negative goal difference.

bounce

We actually WON a game biggrin The 1st league win since September!

In fairness, although we played well, Southend were pretty poor; in fact the worst I've seen them over the past few years. I think they only had 2 chances.

Hopefully this might give us some momentum now to go on a run and get to mid-table safety. And with a new boss on the horizon too!

Utter and absolute st today, led by a total wker.

Got his two year extension in the week, brought in some unheard of Algerian defender today, switched the defence around playing a RB at CB, another RB at LB then we get beat 1-0 by Macclesfield, a side that have won once all season.

I'm so glad I'm stopping going at the end of the season. With this regime/manager in charge, we are heading into non league again.

fkers, the lot of them.

And just when you thought it couldn't get any worse, the team drag up one of the most shambolic, mistake-ridden, tactically naive, disgraceful, inept clusterfk of a performances you have ever seen.

Port Vale, one place above us and having scored four away goals all season, won 3-0 at ours last night. The scoreline is a little unfair, it should have been seven or eight. We were terrible and in 46 seasons of following the Glovers, that is probably the worst we have ever played (and I can remember some grim non-league shows, I can tell you!).

That's now one win in the last seventeen home league games. I only do home games these days so I've seen my team win once in ten months. Oh, actually twice, because we beat West Ham under-21's (including a load of 16 and 17 year olds) in a Checkatrade Trophy dead rubber when we played most of the first team.

fking terrible. If this manager had any rocks at all, he'd quit this morning but sadly, neither he nor the two geriatric owners have any at all so the malaise will go on. It's a horrible time to be a Yeovil fan right now... cry

I think, luckily for you Mart, there will be (unbelievably) two worse teams below you come May.

Vale fan here. Getting beaten heavily at home by the Vale is indeed a bad day at the office. We're pants, and we know we are.

Tyre - I hope so. We were saying a week ago that Macclesfield looked doomed but now they've won two in four days!!

Jim - didn't want to give the impression we thought Vale would be an easy touch, they were great last night. Pope played as a good old fashioned centre forward and did a fantastic job, Montano was excellent and Oyuleke was superb. Defence won pretty much everything in the air, we were shocking but if you had your shooting boots on, seven or eight would have been a fair reflection.
