Lost 4-1 at home to Cheltenham today.

My club is absolutely rotten to the core. A clueless tt of a manager who would be out of his depth in an empty bath and Statler & Waldorf in the boardroom fiddling while the club burns.

Hope they are proud that they have made one of the best little clubs in the country a truly laughing stock.
I see your pain and raise you ...

Five wins on the bounce in Lge 2 since the start of December, including a 6 - 0 hammering of Oldham, moving from 13th to 7th with a shot at automatic promotion, then your manager decides to resign to go to manage Chesterfield who are 21st in the National League.

John Sheridan, WTF?
Very strange, Tootles. That's his eighth managerial appointment in less than four years, and he's been at a club for a maximum of 33 games in that time.

Serial walker-out too. Any whispers as to who is next?

Meanwhile, back at the Stadium of ste.... another match, another defeat. That's one home win since February 24th now, shambolic.

Here's the form table for the last 18 games.... we're miles behind everyone else yet this week, the dumb manager came out with "We're making progress!".

tt.

This once proud club is turning into the laughing stock of the football world. Run by tts, managed by tts and supported by fewer tts than ever before.

I was ready to have a rant too after yesterday.

Colchester score first ,then in about 16 minutes Notts County score 3 times.

A strong half time talk must have occurred as we brought it back to 3-3 at the end.

Report says must try harder !

Bloody hell, didn't realise Yeovil were in that much of a free fall.

I (Stevenage) went to Cambridge away on Saturday, always a great day out either side of 2 hours of ste, but with them in such dire form I thought we might finally get a result there... nope 2-0 loss. Manager played a narrow 433 on possibly the widest pitch in the league and it was a disaster.

Stevenage are playing such woeful football atm. I hate this modern trend of pass around the back only to then lump it over the midfield. It's like we're trying to mimic the Prem tactics but with none of the ability to do so.

Colchester do it again !

Scored twice ,then concede 3.

The wheels are off again.

Argyle march on. Unbeaten this year.

Great turn out from Coventry at Home Park yesterday.

We could do with a run like that, at least so that we can overtake you tongue out

Mate, I feel for you. Adrift and looking like going down and Franchise Utd looking nailed on for promotion to rub salt in the wounds.

I watched the game. Letheren was a rock and Lameiras just gets better and better - Carey just needs to turn a corner and we are cooking on gas.

Not sure Carey is going to turn the corner. He was blatantly diving everywhere yesterday. Looked desperate.

Our defence always looks like it will give us palpitations too!
I think Carey might have one renaissance left in his locker - we can't afford to keep playing him while waiting on it.

Yeah, our defence for the first 20mins yesterday was frightening. I thought we were in for a serious tonking. Rode our luck massively.

But, 5 in 4 for Lameiras... the new Carey??

Agree. Cov are a good side. Their right back looked a bit dodgy though. And Smith-Brown our left footed, left back is brilliant at Right Back hehe Only Argyle would do that!

The master plan - kerfuffle your opponents with the suggestion you don't know what you are doing!

I was telling the lad about when we played Cov in the FA Cup a few years back - he couldn't believe they were top drawer (ish). Didn't Mickey Evans put himself in the shop window off the back of that game?

Think so.

Was having an exchange of opinion with a Cov lad in the pub before the game, he seemed to think they were a big club. Ummm, compared with what? Certainly no Birmingham clubs, but perhaps Northampton or Burton? They don't even own their ground, and rent it off a rugby club ffs!

Oh man, the terms 'big club', 'biggest club in the world' etc are just in the mind of the supporter. How long have Argyle been touted as 'sleeping giant'?
Looking up the line from Plymouth as a kid, clubs in the first division were 'big clubs' but with the benefit of age and hindsight the likes of Coventry were no bigger than say Cardiff or Huddersfield who have the potential to be in L2 in three years. Look at Sunderland!

Another poor showing tonight, with a 0-3 bashing, at home, from Fleetwood. Leaves us rooted to the foot of the table, 9 points from safety, and having played a game more than the teams above us.

The key stats kinda sums it all up .....
Shots: Dons 3 - Fleetwood 12
Shots On Target: Dons 1 - 9

I guess it will take a miracle at this stage, especially with 6 other teams above us who are all at realistic relegation risk, but are 8 points ahead of us and we've played that 1 game more, as I say above.

Apparently the financing behind our stadium move back to Plough Lane never factored in any league one £££, so there's no financial impact, which is something positive at least. I guess we could pray that we drop back down, then win the play-offs again the following season (where the real £££ is)!!!!!

After the brief hope of two successive wins, back to reality (and normality) last night as Lincoln City gubbed us 2-0.

Don't be fooled by the score, they were six goals better than us but preferred to play with us like a cat with a mouse rather than go for it and run up a cricket score. Rumour has it that the takeover is imminent now, so hopefully the current owners can ride off into the sun, take the clueless manager with them and we can start rebuilding our once proud club again.

Sounds pretty bad. It is depressing when it hits the fan in League 1 as it can be relentless to teams not spending like the big boys in there.

I see you've signed Steve Seddon, can't see that a left back is going to change that much but he did look a class above very quickly in League 2 for us.
