Still here! What a time to pick to have your wheels fall off, not looking forward to Saturday in the least. The best bit is it’s an early kick off so at least we can get it over and done with.
It's like the Man U-Liverpool derby - form goes out the window.

To be fair Ant, Orient are an awful team and Scunthorpe not as bad as their league position would suggest.

And let's face it, your 88th minute equaliser/winner run had to come to an end sooner or later.

So it's been announced late tonight that we've parted ways with Wally.

In some respects not really a surprise, considering 4 consecutive wins.

So his backup Glyn Hodges continues on as caretaker manager; but I suspect that as we're a run now nothing will be done to rock the boat!
Minor update (for anyone vaguely interested) in that Hodges has officially been appointed as the new boss! thumbup

Our winning streak started when he "left", so to speak

The last 12 minutes will make no difference, I'm extremely sorry to say Exeter have been far and away the better team in every respect. 3-0 is s fair result.

Umm 4-0.

Shocking. Glad I didn't go. Exeter is going to ge a horrible place this afternoon.

Well done Mr Moxey. A comprehensive victory. Best result for your boys since 1925.

It was as convincing as the scoreline suggested, and nothing like I was expecting. Obviously I don’t feel an ounce of sympathy for anyone associated with the Gargs, but what I will say is their idiot manager would do well to choose his words a little more wisely next time rather than writing Matt Taylor’s team talk for him.

Just need Mike Bushell to be voted out tomorrow for the weekend to be about as perfect as it gets.

It was as convincing as you say. One team in it. We were ste but I must say I was surprised how well your lot played; that's not a back handed compliment, the way you manipulated space and cut through three lines of defence with slick passing is what we are trying to achieve. After the first ten minutes I was convinced you were long ball gamblers - ended up being us.

Sick in the mouth - well deserved.

We have our moments, just thank goodness it was today! Incidentally thought the atmosphere superb today - obviously it helps when you’re ahead at home - but it was certainly helped (until the third goal) by the packed, and thankfully now covered, away end.

If anyone ever had doubts about just what a Devon Derby means to the fans, then today showed that in spades. The grief Argyle fans were giving the team at the final whistle was, as far as we’re concerned, absolutely hilarious.

It was 3-0 when I'd stopped watching.

I'm sure that some of you may have read, over the past day or so, about my mighty Dons financial status, and the impact of us moving back to our spiritual home at Plough Lane!

Bottom line, it looks like we've got an £11M gap to plug the finances for NPL (New Plough Lane). There's various options being looked at from reducing the capacity and facilities at NPL; through to bringing in an investor! I've heard of one option of a 3k stadium ..... less than what we have today (4.6k capacity). And of course, bringing in an investor, goes against everything that we've stood for and are about.

There's rumours that we might be staying where we are at the moment, which we sold to Chelsea last year, for a longer period.

Who knows! But I'm dreading what the outlook could be cry

There are times I look at the way Exeter’s trust work and get incredibly frustrated at the seemingly glacial speed of doing stuff.

But then I’m thankful that they haven’t managed to put us in a similar predicament as AFCW are in now.

How on earth did they miscalculate that so badly Kinky?
Good luck and I hope the investment path isn’t something you need to rely on.

And therein lies the $1M question (or I guess the £11M in this case).

The fans own 75% of the club which is managed and controlled by the Dons Trust, which is all 100% fan owned, managed and controlled.

There's a Dons Trust special meeting on the 9th of December, so as you can imagine it's all kicking off!!!!

I think that if we do sell out to 'outside investors' (although only at 49% ownership), I think it might have an impact with some/many/most/all of the volunteers who make the club tick over at match days, etc. You'll occasionally find me selling programmes by the front gate (although not recently sadly).

But of course, the bottom line, is how the £11M gap seemed to have suddenly appeared; and a really short window of time to decide the future; of which we seem to only have 3 options to consider.
