The ups and downs of supporting Colchester.
16 games unbeaten ended last week against Cambridge.
Have recently played all the top teams in L2 ,nothing happened against Exeter and good win against Swindon and now a
quite superb performance ,going by the reporter on BBC Final score today who used the word rampant to describe
the attacking onslaught which could have netted lots more goals apparently.
Will be very disappointed if this all ends with the 8th place finish AGAIN !

I watched ten minutes and you were indeed quite superb, we were not! I binned iFollow off and went back to attempting the world's most awkward wiper motor fit on the VX220; far and away more enjoyable than watching our performance!16 games unbeaten ended last week against Cambridge.

One of the more surreal days out watching the Wanderers away yesterday. Like our own travails, Cov have had more than their fair share but having to ground share at St Andrews must grate. I've never been to SA before and holy cow what a sthole area it lives in. In the ground it was quite weird being in such a large stadium to have only two sides open and 6600 on (probably a third from us). The game itself was typical L1 fare and despite the fact they're in a play-off position and we're rock-bottom you wouldn't have known. We could (and should) have won but inevitably succumbed to a 2-1 reverse.
Despite Brum being one of the UK's tattier cities I can wholeheartedly recommend the following if you are in the area:
Dig Brew Co. - Brewery & Tap - fantastic ales inside the brewery with ace pizzas too in a very run down industrial estate
Shababs Balti restaurant in Balti Triangle - great grub / BYO
Already working out next years trips in the forthcoming L2, should be some very interesting and far flung places to visit. We'll also be practising some non-league viewing before the end of this season.

So Blackpool are looking for a new manager. Wasn't to keen on Grayson returning, but he did have a good record getting teams into the championship, although his last 2 jobs (now 3) didn't go well. He was allowed to make lots of transfers in January, something like 12 in and 10 out.
Lots of people hoping for Ian Evatt who seems to doing good things at Barrow in the National League, currently top by 4pts. He's a legend here having played for us for 7years, including a year in the Prem.

This is all very interesting, but I havent a clue what your team is! Lots of people hoping for Ian Evatt who seems to doing good things at Barrow in the National League, currently top by 4pts. He's a legend here having played for us for 7years, including a year in the Prem.

Haha, you’re not the only one thinking that!I did find a post back in Feb 2019 that indicates that Anthony supports Exeter?
I've edited my post to keep you both happy.
Pretty much avoided this thread for good reason.
Stevenage, 3 league wins this season. 4 managers this season.
Living abroad now, I subbed to iFollow (despite 2-4 am alarms to watch) at leastif when we go down, I won't have the option to waste the 110 quid.
Started this thread with us in League One, now look destined to be back in non league.

Boydie I feel your pain. But in the same breath can't help feeling pleased that that tosser Westley is having a torrid time.
You're definitely going down. Adam's is doing an alright job at Morecambe, and unless Macclesfield get docked more points, there's only one outcome.
It would help if you could hold a lead.

Mighty Vale.
Top of the form table, storming into the L2 play-off positions, and I understand from my sources about to be invited to take Man City's CL spot (to keep the paperwork simple.)
Stand well back, football, Vale are coming through.
Could be in the same League as your rivals next season!Top of the form table, storming into the L2 play-off positions, and I understand from my sources about to be invited to take Man City's CL spot (to keep the paperwork simple.)

Who'd have thought that a few years back.

I think both City and Vale fans who remember the huge clashes in the 90's would both love a return to those matchdays.
Vale on balance had the upper hand in the Potteries Derbies, while Stoke would usually finish higher in the league.

Should never have got him back. Mark Sampson was doing OK, had the defence looking very solid, just lacking goals for. Westley ruined all of that.
