Slightly annoyed !...
Orient fans raided the pitch, when Colchester are 3-1 up,match abandoned.
Thanks for that....
Presumably needs to be replayed mid week before L2 ends next weekend.
Finished it behind closed doors didn't they?Orient fans raided the pitch, when Colchester are 3-1 up,match abandoned.

Now says they came back on after 2 hours,to play 8 minutes.
Must be summat about Colchester.
When Donny had our crooked owner (Ken Richardson of burning down the ground and getting sent down for conspiracy to commit arson fame) back in 1997-98 we had a long pitch invasion at Belle Vue in an attempt to get the match abandoned and the league's end of season payment pulled so it wouldn't end up in HIS pocket.
IIRC Colchester were chasing playoffs at that time too.
Massively annoyed as I am at Rovers' end of season capitulation and now slim chance of winning the title, it pales into insignificance compared to the plight of Orient. Hope the fans' trust can save their club. Could be an interesting day a Blackpool on Saturday with the FSF organised protest up there.
I'll have to catch up on coverage later as I'll be at Hartlepool hoping for last day heroics from the Rovers. Same as t'other season at Brentford will do for me. Cometh the hour, cometh the James Coppinger.

Nice to see another Rovers fan on here!

Newport county fan here, absolutely thrilled after yesterday, Flynny has pulled off an absolute miracle with that team and is not getting anywhere near enough credit from the media who are all too busy consoling Jeff stelling.
We've supported our team through promotions from the fourth tier of non-league football over twenty five years after mismanagement put us out of business, retaining our football league status means everything to this club.
To add to this we've also had to endure multiple seasons playing away from Newport in Gloucester just to retain our place in the English football pyramid! Don't talk to Newport county fans about hardship!

No, you're paying the same money to watch Hartlepool. You're also more likely to see a much higher number of wins and also more likely to have a much more enjoyable and successful season than the one you've just witnessed.
Relegation isn't the end of the world, even to the Conference and you'll have a decent number of away trips where you'll outnumber the locals by some majority. Believe me, the Conference isn't the worst thing that could ever happen - better a good season down there than a s*** on in League Two.

What a day filled with mixed emotions. The mood around the stadium going into the final stages of the game was horrendous, but when O'Brien scored the winner ... Wow.We've supported our team through promotions from the fourth tier of non-league football over twenty five years after mismanagement put us out of business, retaining our football league status means everything to this club.

Stevenage fan here. V disappointed with our horrendous end to the season. A great run got us to 4th and play offs looked very realistic, but ended up finishing mid table.
Yes, you looked like our biggest challenger for a promotion spot after you beat us 3-0 mid March.Just goes to show how tight the league was this season.

It's been very much downhill from there, however.
Good luck next season, your fans were really good. Still singing away well after the final whistle.

Actually, I don't mind that for Stelling, he's a fan at the end of the day and quite open about his bias, it's nice to see a bit of passion. The rest of the Soccer Saturday crew not so much, their only vested interest is their mate.
