I'm really enjoying Being Liverpool. Bit of a guilty pleasure of mine.

Interesting to see what goes on behind the scenes at a football club.

the mythical plan 'B'.
I could imagine a lot of teams don't have this.
they don't. managers get lauded for making player changes which go on to affect a positive influence or a subtle tactical decision (e.g. to man mark a single opponent player). very rarely to they make any radical (e.g. formation, large strategy) decisions mid game which go on to be successful.

'plan b' is just a buzz phrase those with limited knowledge of the game have latched onto to try to beat the manager with when the results don't go their way. if the results do go our way, don't expect the same people to congratulate the manager on focusing on the 'plan a' which gets the result..

He doesn't normally wear them though, the big show off. He seems a bit staid.

The mythical plan B. he's already played it. 4231. Stunning European performance a few weeks ago.

Shock transfer of the year:

Walcott swapped for Carroll. Wenger rates him.

Walcott is going to be on a free very soon. Can't see it happening without cash our way on top

Where on earth did you hear this rubbish? When has Wenger ever bought someone of the Carroll ilk?

From the pre match press conference before Arsenal vs West Ham.

It is clear that Wenger rates him. He caused Arsenal problems when he was playing for Newcastle.

I really do not rate Walcott at all. I'd take him on a free as long as he isn't greedy with his wage asking price.
