I've just finished watching the match, first thoughts are jumbled and not in order of the play, Chris Martin is pants, Sessegnon was a poor substitution and was out of his depth, the referee I respect and admire. 100% correct decision regarding the penalty, what was Kalas thinking ? Not too surprised he's a loaner. Aluka is tricky and inspirational, pity he can't shoot.
Chris Martin useless lump.
Reading did their homework and deserve credit , Stam is no mug.
Malone mugged himself up doing swan lake , fool.
Ream, greatly improved and I thought did ok, all the other players in my opinion were dedicated and gave their all. Chris Martin impersonating a stricker is lacking.
It's galling to think that it's Reading v Huddersfield at Wembly but you have to say they deserve to be there, both beating the teams they faced.
As for us , we need a proven scorer of goals up front , stating the bleedin' obvious but it's true.
As a final comment I'd like to voice my opinion of Chris Martin, erm, wait ...get back to you on that one .

And so it begins. Tipped by many for promotion!

Popped to watch Chesham United v 'Fulham XI' (that turned out to be the under 23s) on a very wet Wednesday this week (lost 3-2).

Don't worry, Norwich at home is a 'shoe in' 3 points for Fulham. You even managed to give us 2 goal start last season and we managed to **** it up.

I'm deploying my daughter this week. She's never seen Fulham lose, although have chosen bottom of the table Bolton as her day out.

Starting to look half decent although tough run coming up. Forest were better than the scoreline suggested according to my lad, but we never look beaten.

I refuse to be optimistic. Refuse. Crushed hopes so many times.

(But you're right, it's looking good right now.....)

I hope Mitrovic works out, I think he's a far better player than he's credited with, and does not have the disciplinary problem people think he does. Seems like any one from Serbia is automatically labelled a "bad boy" these days.

There's a few posters here who would be apoplectic if Terry scores..

Unlikely, it's not the role he plays there. But this will be a real test for Fulham, Villa are chock full of confidence right now.

I'm not superstitious so I'll post a comment or two.
I've watched every game on the Fulham website albeit 24 hours after the live event .
The Sunderland away game and the Brentford result are the stand out reasons why we're not in the automatic position right now.
Derby beating Cardiff is all we could hope for and it's gone our way.
One point the difference going into the final two games in the regular season sans counting the play offs which we are included should Cardiff pip us. Aston Villa are still in the hunt for the automatic place ?
Sunderland this coming Friday at CC is a must win as is Birmingham away.
Cardiff have Hull away and Reading at home and a one point advantage , thus far our gd is superior.
As black can man says : there's still hope .
Opinions welcomed .

Hull have nothing to play for and Reading look safe. Worried, but just maybe.

Family trip Friday (pesky TV schedule) including a rare outing for myself. My lad (12) has an online banking account with the nickname 'Season Ticket Fund'. He's not asked me if he can go without a chaperone yet, but must be close.

Fulhamish? Self destruct in the playoffs then 100 points and 100 goals next season. Please let me be wrong.

I have a horrible feeling it's st or bust now. Fail to go up and Jokanovic leaves, the squad gets broken up and top assets will be sold. Rebuild again within FFP, it will 2-3 season before we challenge again, if we're lucky.

Feels like 1983 all over again but at least Derby have done us a favour this time...

Watford fans are watching with interest - very few were happy to see Joka leave AFTER promotion. Awesome manager.

Of course he can. I was going to football grounds with my mates when I went up to secondary school.

Goal difference shouldn't come into it. You need all 6 points and they'll get either 6 or 4 or 3 so you can't finish on equal points unless they lose their last games and you draw one. Unlikely.

If we get 4 and they get 3 then GD it will be.

The only club in the world which could own Wembley Stadium and still never play there.

Riverside apartments alongside the lovely Bishops park must be worth a fortune.
