I think coming onto the ball Jesse can't shoot quite well, reaction shots, not so much

I hate it when the commentator lazy narrative is: "It is the same old story".

This is a YOUNG England team that will make mistakes. They have played with energy and great passing, kept hold of the ball and created chances. Sure we have been a bit dodgy at the back and wasted a few chances in front of goal.

Let's remember Tunisia until recently were ONE place below us in 14th in the World Rankings but at times we have made them look very ordinary.
It IS the same old story though.

If we play well, which we have, then we never, ever capitalise on it and it usually costs us.

Just shows you. Fall to the ground clutching your face and you’ll get a penalty.

Do a Harry Kane and be honest and you won’t.

The speed they determined that Harry Kane being wrestled to the ground wasn't a penalty was very suspect. How much of it did they actually watch? The commentator said, 'Hold on, they are reviewing a potential penalty decision' and then literally a nano-second later he says, 'it's reviewed, we have a green light on our screen'. If they are going to check it, at least take the time to do so!

Run into someone's arm = penalty

Rugby tackle someone to the ground = not a penalty

Well I'm glad that's cleared up

We created more chances in that half than the whole of the last World Cup. Poor penalty decision in my view.

Why don't they mention how ineffectual Sterling is?

Do they really think he's good?

Rashford for Sterling and Rose for Young and this could be a pretty good team...
Young took the corner for the goal and put another cross on a plate for Lingaard, he's may be not the best defender but he's pretty good offensively. I agree with Sterling though. That offside saved his blushes!

No doubt England should have had a penalty, don’t see why VAR wasn’t used in that incident.

Come on don’t lower yourself to a Shearer type comment, the Tunisian didn’t really run into Walkers arm.
Walker stupidly raised his arm across the player, only one person to blame for the penalty and that’s walker.

VAR was used and they determined it wasn't a penalty

VAR was used. For about 2 seconds. They clearly didn't bother to look hard.

Has Sterling ever achieved anything for England?

Like an assist or a goal?
