He's not quite the Vieiraesque powerhouse that i'd envisaged (he's 5'6") but quite handy apparently.
They broke the mould with PV4. He had everything. Can't remember which players it was but some of his contemporaries were on TV recently as pundits and were talking about what he was like to play against...."nightmare" was the common phrase. One of them said that you could "smell him coming" because of the Vicks he used to smear on his shirt and the players would almost panic knowing what was coming

I'm very pleased with the speed of change this summer. At last we've got someone at the helm with some balls to make the right decisions and get rid of these incompetent overpaid fools. I'm particularly delighted with the departures in the medical department, some of these should have been unemployed years ago.Unai will be joined by First Team Assistant Head Coach, Juan Carlos Carcedo; First Team Assistant Head Coach, Steve Bould; First Team Coach, Pablo Villanueva; Director of High Performance, Darren Burgess; Strength and Conditioning Coach, Julen Masach; Goalkeeping Coach, Javi Garcia; Goalkeeping Coach, Sal Bibbo and Data/Video Analyst, Victor Manas.

Emery has my full support. I think the season will be a roller-coaster and we may not seen any significant improvement in the first year but at last change is coming and the axe is falling on these overpaid individuals whose incompetence and complacency has been at our cost in recent years.
Summer signings spot on so far and with at least 2 more potential signings likely to announce in early July. Well done Arsenal and Emery so far.
Keep it up.
Blimey, the teams going to be completely unrecognisable next season at this rate. and not without good reason too. The only thing maybe too much change isnt good as we could waste next season trying to get the new players to gel and i really dont think we were that bad last season, just appaling away from home which was down to the usual comedy defending.
On a World Cup note (re-running some games) Ozil for Germany at no10 looks ordinary at best. His usual lanquid innefectual style he puts in for us at £500k a week or whatever the loser rate is. Will new regime allow this ? I hope I know the answer...
Carlos Vela for Mexico - looked half decent and not overcome with the situation like he did in an Arsenal shirt. Another potential been and gone under W.
Just some p*ssed ramblings ..

If Ozil was that good Real Madrid would of kept him, Bayern Munich would of tried to sign him as they like homegrown players.Carlos Vela for Mexico - looked half decent and not overcome with the situation like he did in an Arsenal shirt. Another potential been and gone under W.

Just seen Wilshire is off at the end of the month.
