Typical pathetic sanitized modern arsenal fans.
You say that, but it was the 'modern' fans who engaged the Germans, having a laugh, banter etc. When the old guard turned up it all went sour. There's an old boy along our row who turned to a group of Koln fans behind us and blamed them for the late kick off and then 'told' them to leave... "Go on, fk off!" he kept shouting.

Then another turned up a few minutes before KO and he saw that we'd been invaded. He muttered a few things under his breath and interestingly, when Koln scored, he called the stewards over and instructed them to remove the German fans HOWEVER, the moment we opened our account for the night, the same knobhead turned around immediately and, arms out wide, starts giving it the 'Who are ya?'

Embarrassing.

For those that followed the news of Mercedes putting in What 3 Words to their Sat Nav, I thought I would have a look at some famous places with 3 words....

It sounds like there's a few people here who go to home matches. Can you explain how touts have tickets to sell?

Back in the day for example at Highbury, whenever I went we had tickets. At the Emirates me and my Dad were red members for a few years, not now, and we had like a credit/debit card. We've never had tickets

So, what does the tout actually give you, is it an actual ticket and if so how come they have tickets?

Half decent display today, a bit of pride restored, I say a bit as it will take more than a draw at Chelski to forget the bumming we received off the scousers.

Luiz is a lucky boy, that tackle could have been a career ender, was surprised Kolasinac didn't end on a stretcher after that.

Watched the match in a David Lloyd as daughter had a party there. Bloke next to me talking to someone who just asked how the game was.

"Luis got sent off for what was a debatable yellow card, let alone red" - Its amazing how fan loyalty can be blind to what happens!

Not even that loyal if he spent the afternoon in a David Lloyd.

Studs out and contact shin high is as red as red can get. He would have been off whoever he was playing for.

I'm a red member and one of my mates is a season ticket holder...for some games I have had paper tickets. No idea why

20 more displays like that and we might have a decent season. Got a very winnable series if half a dozen games in PL and Cups now.

Did well without our two best players...some may say that a) that means we're not a man short without the ball and b) possession doesn't get turned over so much. Personally I'd still rather see both of them start...Ozil in particular I think you need to see him live,

Chairman asked if the fire had destroyed the cups?

Fire brigade said it hadn't reached the kitchens.

Slightly surprised to see no activity on this thread since last Tuesday. Thought we were a tad unlucky not to grab an equaliser and force extra time on Wednesday night.

Didn't watch the game so can't comment. Saw the result and thought it'll do.
