I had to go out last night when we were 1-0 up... assume our tight defense held up and we knocked a couple more past them.

Oh so familiar.

Get a pasting, team reacts and plays a bit better for a few games (might even say they played well against Chelsea) then turn up for a game not 100% on it and get beaten. I only saw the last 20 mins or so yesterday but we were abject and got what we deserved.

Seconded, not even getting wound up anymore. Nothing will change until the old fool retires. I'm half beginning to hope he gets sacked on one game less than fungus face. hehe

Third-ed.(is that a word?!)
I remember a good few years ago when i had a hissy-fit at the local spuds on here.
Not even they come and take the piss anymore.

Same here, lifelong fan, season ticket holder, merchandise buyer for the kids etc etc.

Not any more, something has to change at the very top in order to stop this club imploding.

I'm quite enjoying watching my son play for Hadley Rangers FC... except for when my Sunday is ruined because the opposition is a 'religious team' and therefore will only play at 3.15 pm.

There’s no fun in kicking someone when they’re down.

Still plenty of time to turn it around this season points-wise anyway.

I too am out and not going back. I berated the lad beside me who 3 years ago swore he wasn't going back till AW left and sublet his season ticket but with hindsight he was right. Don't have the energy to whinge about it anymore.

In a lighter moment, Poch is wanting to turn himself into the new AW by signing up for 15 years so good luck with that Spuds. And before a Spuditte leaps down my throat, i am not questioning his ability as a manager because he clearly has potential, i am not (and never have been) convinced long term managers are a good thing. SAF was definitely the exception.

I wonder what the true thoughts of Robbie and co on Arsenal fan TV are. On the one hand they all clearly love the club, but on the other hand, AFTV is now a thriving business and the more views they get, the more money they earn. And the views go thru the roof when you lose, because that's when millions of fans of other clubs (me included) watch, to laugh at Clyde, Troopz, Ty and all the other regulars debating where it's all gone wrong.

This week was a corker, with Ty insisting the league was still on and Clyde going potty, pointing out that Citeh has won 6-0 at Watford. Brilliant stuff.

Poor old Robbie, he must be really torn. Gutted they've lost, but knowing he's about to make much more money as a result.

Only time I am going is at the moment is whenI take my 9yr old son so maybe four or five times a season at the tops.

It's going to be a loooong season....I've absolutely loved watching Ozil live on plenty of occasions but there no fking way he's worth £250k a week even in this lunatic market. Sublime talent and capable of moments of genius but beyond mediocre on too many others now.

I can see the whole Sanchez and Ozil thing really pulling the squad apart, Sanchez now doesn't have the incentive of staying "on it" now he's not going to the World Cup so I just see it ending horribly.

They'll probably try and sell both in Jan and fail....nightmare.

Well then fail to finish Top 4 with a disjointed squad no CL next season when the big commercial contacts are up for renewal. So them there will be less money to build the squad back up. Club is in serious danger of going massively backwards which could take a long time to put right.

Just seeing how well the English teams are doing this season in the CL is an indication of how Arse FC have been holding back our influence in Europe.
AW only ever looked at getting past group phase and extra £££'S for him and his t*sspots. W*nker

All quite right but this is the crux and with Sir Kroenke at the helm the ship (given his form) will never likely recover.

Like you I want to take my son. His grandfather was born not too far away but I'm so disheartened by what the abject current leaders have done, well it's all quite depressing. Almost laughable.

At the end of GGs tenure, I would still have taken the wee man (had be been born and old enough). These days, I'm not so sure.

Ozil needs punted. Quickly, Sanchez does not seem to have the heart for it anymore. Let him go and hopefully prosper else where ( just not a rival haha). I did say few months ago we can't be seen to be selling to cash in. I think i was wrong.

Welcome to mid table mediocrity.

On a plus note, I have £50 on with a friend. He (a Palace man) thinks the gunners will still end up above the spuds by the end of the season.

What should I splash my £50 on??

I don't think you can make that point until a few English teams have made it through the group stages and into the finals.

Besides which, however Arsenal did had no bearing on how the rest of the English teams did. In fact I seem to remember Arsenal frequently being the last English team in the competition.

The point I was trying to get over, albeit poorly is Arsenal for years have taken a valuable position in the competition from another PL team who actually have some ambition to win it.
Time to move over and make way for others who don't just use the CL as a cash cow.

Wenger in full banter mode, with a defence of Debuchy, Elneny and Holding..

What's going on with Chambers? I'd have played him any day of the week over Debuchy. In fact I'd have taken the whole squad from The Watford game and made them clean the kids boots at the end of tonight's game. mad

I take it back, Debuchy has had a decent game considering he hasn't played for a year. Bloody awful game though.
