Whether they are allowed to use their full talent by Wenger and co is a different matter though..

It's certainly interesting and I can't imagine it wasn't done without resistance from Wenger....maybe part of him getting the new contract this summer. http://www.skysports.com/football/news/11670/11147...

New "Director of Football"
New Chief Scout
New Contracts "Expert"
New Fitness Guru
All in the last three months. I thought Gazidis's "catalyst for change" statement was all bks at the time...clearly he had a mandate to have a clear out. The fact the first two come from the upper echelons of the game in Spain and Germany can only be positive.
You do wonder if this is Wenger's last season ....either that or he gets a new contract next summer. The one thing they can't do is have a repeat of last season where the team went to pieces in March/April with all the Wenger contract speculation.
Three points required tonight!
Maybe that's why the recent comments of him reviewing his position at the end of this season. Has some of his power been eroded by these new appointments if this new people report to others?
Maybe he was told this would be his last contract and part of the job in the next two years was to oversee a new structure to modernise the club for the post AW era, and given his control-freak nature maybe he just won't be able to cope with 2 years of that...!

Just watched the highlights on Sky, don't be fooled by the scoreline, we were mighty close to making another almighty ballsup tonight with Xhaka fking up in the midfield on numerous occasions, every time nearly giving a needless goal away, why or how he keeps getting picked im at a loss to know. Only after about three or four of these with the score at one nil did we finally wake up in the second half and rip them a new a hole. Some sublime stuff between Ramsey Ozil Alexis and Giroud for the four goals.

Yep we should have got it back to 1-1 when Quaner missed that chance which would have allowed us to park the bus again and try to hold on. Once it went 2-0 our heads went down and we pretty much gave upDisappointed that we put our such a weak/poor side but I suppose Wagner sees Everton as a better chance of picking up points. Cranie, Quaner, Kachunga should not be getting in to a Premier League starting 11. With Depoitre, Van La Para, Palmer and Williams in the side (granted VLP was suspended) I think we would have come away with something

Great win last night, Wheelchair looking like is he pretty much there for fitness. Amazing that Giroud, Walcott or Wheelchair haven't started an EPL game this season, not a bad bench to have.
Love to see Arsenal vs Celtic come up in the draw.
I'm angling for Steaua Bucharest...been to Bucharest a lot on business over the last couple of years and would make sure I'm there to see the game. It's a great city. Love to see Arsenal vs Celtic come up in the draw.

And again today. Surprised no one has been talking about it.
First post here, there's not a 'no talking about the game until after' rule is there?!
It's just that most of us are just sick of watching the same mistakes over and over again. Much the same going forward, team that sits back and we spend the entire game trying to walk the ball in through the centre of their defence, first time we try a decent cross, oh look, a goal, what A fking surprise. Who'd have ever thought of doing that First post here, there's not a 'no talking about the game until after' rule is there?!
