Be very interesting to see how Sanchez gets on with Mourinho....on his day he’s a force of nature but he can certainly frustrate too with his ability to lose possession.

Arsenal’s potential new attack could be very interesting

He's [very conveniently] eligible, and Maureen knows how to grind out a result.

He's gone so I really don't care what happens ongoing, he was clearly a very disruptive influence on the whole squad so needed gone regardless of where or to whom. If we come out of this with Mkhitaryan, Aubameyang and the chance of getting Ozil to re sign then I'd happily settle for that.

The only thing that grates is we'll have to listen to a couple of seasons of "Alexis Sanchez, he left coz yor st!" mad

whats evidence he was disruptive? Leading by example for effort and work rate and wanting to win, expecting more from his teammates, rather than being a nice boy happy to pick up his pay cheque like Ramsey?

coq exploded myths of discontent the other day.

Pires i think said something similar.

Glad to see the back of Sanchez, as good as he is on his day. I think we can become slicker, faster and better without him (though my biggest worry is that on days we are not at the races, we don't have anyone that can dig deep and win the game on their own).

Can't help but think United are getting the better deal here...

They are getting the better player. However, I would rather Mkhi than 30m cash that wouldn't be spent (and the rumour is United will be picking up his wages for a while also). Sanchez was going to be gone regardless.

If we pick up Aubameyang and keep Ozil also, we may well have a better squad at the end of the window than the start of the window.

Let's hope Mickey feels he has a point to prove, and does a bit of a Mo Salah.

I'd be fairly irritated right now were I a gooner realising my best player had been missing match days & training because he was busy learning 'Glory, glory Man Utd' on the piano.

Exactly this I actually think if we can pull this all off it’s been a good transfe window for us which is very unusual!

I doubt Glory, Glory Man United is really all that difficult to learn for someone who can play piano already.

Sanchez can play apparently, videos of him from years back

Pires (who sees him everyday) has been nothing but complementary, so maybe he learnt it in the evenings smile
