Surely it was job well done, through to next round and players rested for the weekend.
"Job done" is probably all that needs said and move on. No way we will win the Europa League though.

Not sure Roy Keane was a fan of that performance: https://twitter.com/Sporf/status/96696758539173478...

I'm not sure Roy Keane, who displays levels of ery previous unseen in history, is in a position to criticise anyone else really. punch

We were st! No vision or skill going forward. It reminded me of local football, nothing more.
Östersund on the other hand played some nice football. Some of their attacking formation and passing was a pleasure to watch.
Apparently there was 10% of the population there last night!

Come over to London for a weekend away in the warmer weather no doubt.....

I bet there was a few sore Swedish heads this morning.....and deservedly so.

Abysmal performance by us.

Europa League looks tough this year. Some very good teams in it. Milan isn't the end of the world though.

It's not been a good couple of weeks has it. The journalists are getting very lazy, they must have other adjectives they could use:

Arsenal's dismal loss at Bournemouth
Swansea 3-1 Arsenal: Dismal Gunners short on ideas and inspiration
Dismal Arsenal limp through in Europa League

I mean they could have used abysmal, depressing, miserable, inauspicious, atrocious, biggrinbiggrinbiggrin

I didn't watch the game - was getting updates on my phone whilst I was at a non-kickball pub.

You would think a set of players who aren't getting regular game time would be full of energy and desire, keen to give the manager a lot to think about for first team selection. That said, a visiting team desperate to get something coming to town was always going to be tricky. In that respect I feel some criticism may be harsh. Nobody wants to see a loss, especially at home but a 1-2 loss against a determined and well drilled side isn't an embarrassment looking at our lineup... which included Chambers and Holding as our two centre-halves?

Good call. I'm amazed he's still got all his front teeth tbh.

I'm no fan of Gary Neville, but he's called this correctly - 'an absolute disgrace'.

An embarrassingly abysmal performance.

Not one player can hold his head up.

You appear to be a team of what in boxing parlance is called journeymen.

A couple of better-than-average players - ie Ozil and Sanchez, the latter wanting more money and so leaving, the former happy with his cushy life in Hampstead, so quite happy to stay (on improved money of course).

I can't think of (m)any other players, the top sides in the Prem would want. The Dortmund guy maybe, but he's only just come. Cech is past it and making too many errors. Wheelchair is not as good as he thinks he is and hasn't been for three years, can't think of anyone else who's not just as said before, a journeyman! Ramsay maybe, when he can be bothered ...

And all this is down to ONE MAN - and he refuses to go!

More likely an Epiphany.

Utterly pathetic, Thursday night is going to be fun to see what happens.

Ospina completed more passes than Ozil, Ramsey and Wilshere.
