What's the deal with Leno?
I expecting him to start, Cech is awful now

I expect him to be eased in over the next few weeks. Certainly should be after Cech's poor performance yesterday.

I thought Cech pulled off some cracking saves and kept you in the game.
OK his pass, almost into his own goal, was quite comical but he’s still miles ahead of the likes of Bravo imo.

Wasn't able to go to the game yesterday, but did watch some TV highlights. Cech looked to have pulled off some great saves. It could have been a lot worse from the highlights.

A few positives but I didn't feel I was seeing anything new yet. Just not capitulating like before was positive though. It's going to take some time.

Still hopeful. Expecting a win against City after a change of manager for the first time in 22 years is a bit ridiculous and if any one was expecting it they need their heads checked.

I think a big part of a problem is still mental, we don't react well to going behind. We need the rub of the green to actually believe we can win against better teams. I think a lot of that still stems from not having the leaders we need.

Not keeping up with things but hearing about some new signings, tuned in at 4 o'clock yesterday and it's Cech,. Xhaka, Mustafi, Bellerin, Mkhitaryan, Ozil, all of them not good enough for Arsenal. I thought they might of gone with Wenger.
Is it an acceptable level at Arsenal now to have cast offs from teams like Man Utd, Chelsea and Real Madrid? Not only did we lose our best player with Sanchez we got palmed off with Mkhitaryan to add insult to injury.
Did Arsenal go with a relatively unknown manager because he didn't demand big sums of money on transfers?
I was expecting something different yesterday but instead it was the same old mediocre players and the same old mediocre performance.

According to the Daily Star (so it must be true laugh) ......

Former Arsenal shareholder Alisher Usmanov is likely to invest in AC Milan, Roma or Bayern Munich rather than Everton.

Given the way its run and the setup, I'd be surprised if it was Bayen.......?

Blimey! This is painful. As you say, this will take time but no excuse for missing that sitter.

I'm trying to think this too, but tbh we could have done this with Wenger. st defence, 'wrong' lineup... What's changed?

I really, really hope we see Leno and Torriera starting next game, as well as Laca up front with Auba.

From what I’ve read Leno sounds like a buy for later this season or even next, Top Class distribution but not up to it yet at what you need a goalkeeper to actually be good at.

Shocking defensive work but I love how Emery is apply to yank off players who were previously untouchable. I love watching Ozil but if you don’t want to get yanked you need to put in better performances.

On the plus side we created more “big chances” in that game than in oall our away games against Top 6 sides combined last year. Better finishing and it could have been interesting.

I thought the same, the defence is crap so I don't know why he didn't splash the cash on some new defenders before the transfer window shut.
