Gazidis installed at AC Milan, and now talk of Wenger headed there too.

If there's any mileage in this, it might even suggest where Ramsey might be going come the summer.

I can't see Ramsey going abroad, he has a 3 year old son and 2 new born twins, pretty sure that he or his wife would want to stay in England.
Man U or Everton or even Liverpool must be where his future lies.

I went to the Leicester game last week and agree on the atmosphere....even before the game the atmosphere was so much better than it has been for a long time.

Great game yesterday this team has come further than I think most of us thought possible in this timeframe...and really the only difference in personnel is Torreira but what a difference he is. Xhaka looks a totally different player next to him. It’s obviously about a lot more than that though. Think about where Klopp was this far isn’t his AnfIeld career or where Utd were 15 games after Fergie quit. Interesting times.
Just picking up on that point. Xhaka has become a different player in the last few months and if you now look at his stats in the premier league he is top 5 most passes this season.

If you look at the pages above he was highlighted as a player who should move on... What's the thinking now?
Xhaka’s passing ability in the final third has never been in doubt (his stats for that are up there with the best in the division)...he just looks so much more confident both on and off the ball in “our half”than he used to. I think a lot of that is confidence and not being asked to do a job he was ill equipped to do,...i.e. be our sole holding midfielder whilst Ramsey was off chasing goals.

That’s why Ramsey is going I think,,.he’s a great “box to box” midfielder but spends too much time in the final third if you’re playing a two man midfield. So we either have to change the system or he doesn’t really fit. Changing the system to say 4-3-3 would mean Ozil looking less like a starter which doesn’t work whe he’s on the money he’s on.
Whatever new lease of life Xhaka has got, it seems to be accredited to Emery. I never saw him running halfway across the field to high five Wenger.

He’d not have to move if he signed for Spurs . Trouble is I don’t think he’d get anywhere near their first team.

Everton is a possibility I suppose, but can't Jose or Jurgen wanting him tbh.

While I agree he may not 'want' to go abroad, it maybe that's where the only offers come from......unless he's happy to go to the likes of a Palace or Burnley, Bournemouth etc., on a reduced wage?

Man U have 3 midfielders who's contract ends in June 2019 = J.Mata, A.Herrera & A.Pereira, IF their contracts are not renewed only 2 or 3 left would play the attacking midfielder's role P.Pogba, J.Lingard & A.Sanchez.

At Liverpool they do not abundance of attacking midfielders apart from M.Salah who is more than likely to play up front or on the wing, the Ox who is very very injury prone, A.Lallana who will be 31 next season and N.Kieta who has only come to Premiership this season.

So I believe Jose or Jurgen would have space for a ready made Premiership midfielder who is on a free transfer.

Yeah didn’t look good, Lichtsteiner’s done a hamstring too and a dire game all round to pot. Only good thing is we’ve extended our unbeaten run and no stupid defending.

Ramsey didn't do anything tonight to attract the big clubs or make Arsenal rethink their offer.
The final ball was very poor tonight, Smith-Rowe was good, Mkitayrian was average and Iwobi was bad.

Rambo was being played as a DM, but when he did get forward he tried to be cleaver with fancy passes or moves.

That injury to Wellbeck looks horrible. I wish him a speedy recovery

From the one pic I’ve seen, and I don’t want to see any more I think it’s as bad a Ramsey’s and quite possibly, the same injury, broken ankle and dislocation.

Sad for the guy as he’s been decent this season and always seems to put a good stint in when he plays.

Yeah, he's a very honest player, always gives his all, even when he's out of form. Always tries to be positive on the field.

Real shame. I hope he comes back well.

I know he wasn't playing the advanced role, but Ramsey is a central midfielder so should be able to do the defensive as well as the offensive part of his role.
When he has gone forward this season his passing has not really paid off in most of the games he has played in (and I don't count that stumble assist for Aubameyang against Everton).
He has been good for us with his late runs into the box, but his crosses/passing is not good as Xhaka, Torriera, Mkhitaryan and Ozil, that's probably one of the reasons why he has not started many Premiership games and why Arsenal pulled the contract off the table.

What an awful performance yesterday. I know we haven't been great on a number of occasions this season but that felt like a late Wenger era performance.

The irony is that had Wolves actually tried to press forward more and win the game rather than time waste at every opportunity they probably would have won (like they deserved) because they were causing havoc and creating chances at will.

One positive - Leno. Our MOTM by a country mile.

If we play like we did against Bournemouth on Sunday it’ll be painful, regardless of the ref. On a positive note, Koscielny played 45mins for the under 23’s last night.
