Strange feeling to be pleased with the first half performance and disappointed with the second, however, all that mattered today was 3 points no matter how. Onwards.........

Convincing win

Big game today, great display but hope Bellerin injury isn’t a serious one.... we need to start putting in those displays away from home. Manu on Friday is going to be interesting.
Doesn’t matter it’s the FA Cup not League.

I think ozil needs shipping out and fingers crossed Ramsey hasn't signed any pre contract and used ozils wages to resign Ramsey . It amazes me how this club is run we have had so many players signing for other clubs at a fraction of there real value and now Ramsey on a free. I see all of these new articles about "Wenger nearly signed Messi or Ronaldo " . Even if he had, they would have ended up leaving for free because no one can negotiate a contact in time

Its well reported that Ramsey has signed his contract with Juve, so any hope of that being reversed is impossible.

I thinks it's bad management that an asset of Özils value is being forced out of the club, the situation does nobody any good, its not good for the morale of the player and its not a good bargaining tool for us in getting a good price for a player who we paid a lot of money for.

That's really, really bad news. We have two left backs that are both fit thankfully, but Bellerin was our only right back wasn't he? Although I hear Maitland-Niles did an alright job for the rest of the game in that position.

That’s a real blow for Bellerin, we will miss him.

Niles will get an extended run in the first team and i think he will surprise a few people.

Conte confirmed for Spuds. At least when Poch goes they will be back down to 11 men.

Won’t be Conte, they’ve had their hands burned before with a Chelsea reject in Villas Boas. More likely to go for the cheaper option, probably nick the Southampton manager again if he carries on getting the kind of results he has so far.

Speaking of assumptions based on people spotted at stadiums, Samuel Umtiti was at Emirates for the Chelsea game.

scratchchin

Can't see him being lined up as Poch's replacement though.

I think The Sun are doing a better job of that with their comment that Spurs maybe looking at Andy Carroll to bolster their lack of striker issue laugh

As long as it's just looking, anyway he isn't a striker. wink

hah never saw that, i will check it out at lunch.

Sun sport probably feel guilty about Helium-gate and it’s a carefully constructed ploy to get Gunners checking their website again by inventing Spud stories.

Good result

chelsea were utter cack though.im not sure how much of it was us doing well or them doing badly, although nice to see a bit of pressing. that scumbag murderer alonso should have been sent off too.

they were the better team in the carabao cup 1st leg, baffling how bad they were on saturday. hopefully they can sort themselves out for the 2nd leg as spurs will be on a slightly higher high than they should have been thanks to fulhams brainless, useless tt of a keeper. that said sarri has dug his own grave with his digging out of them. we have seen how much player power there is at chelsea before and it only ends one way.

bellerin although not great is going to be big loss, as we are better when he plays. lichtensteiner legs are gone even more then i thought, so he cant play. sadly it will be Maitland niles, who will not be a right back in a million years, far to casual. he will only make it as a midfielder, a chance he wont get with us, and will find his level in a few years i think with notts forest or derby.

i would give jenkinson a go. again, hes not good enough but, has pace, is actually a supposed defender and has height and a good attitude, despite lacking talent. hes not good enough for us, but best option of a poor bunch imo.

Mislintat officially announced as leaving.

Seems an enormous cock up once again. One of the best scouts in world football, who's already proved himself as a fine asset to us via bargain buys like Torreira, Guendouzi and Leno.

Rumoured to be off to Bayern Munich.

It seems it might have been a choice between him or Emery going, as the rumour is that they haven't been able to establish any sort of appropiate working relationship......

Quite possibly. Football is so full of egos, it's ridiculous.
