a bit like our home kit. i much prefer the dark blue and gold/yellow stuff as it looks better on me. ymmv.

The away kit this season is one of the best in years! Been a massive seller apparently
Dyche is the new Pulis,, it was almost like watching the Rugby team a few years back, lob lots of balls into the box for their thuggish players to bully into the net.
We were better but still not being decisive when balls are played towards our box, the amount of times we failed to clear the first header or were just plain beaten too it was poor. Luiz was an improvement though, him and Socrates will make a good pair, thought Nacho had a solid game too.
Ceballos was excellent, almost like watching Fabregas at his best, the youngsters all did well Willock and Reis especially, AMN had a bit of a mare in the first half but looked better in the second.

still there only young and game time will help them.
cebellos could be some player not afraid to get stuck in either, pepe too, defensively we were poor again, winning no 2nd balls looking insecure, AMN looks a million dollars one minute then a calamity the next caused by casualness. midfield wise with willock offering not a lot i thought we lack a ball winning midfielder. need torrirea(?) or chambers in there to help us dominate as i cannot see us dominating midfield.
not impressive but ref was the biased mike dean and burnley are physical. still we will take time to bed in...just hope its quick given next 2 games.

Considering it’s the first game Luiz and Socratis have played together I don’t think they did that badly. Also Xhaka didn’t play either so little or no proper protection for the back four I was expecting a lot worse, though that could be taken either way I suppose king issue. We just don’t defend well as a unit at all! Ceballos looks great!
