Arsenal fans i'm down in London the week you guys are home to Eintracht in the Europa.

What would be the chances of getting a ticket for this without coughing up £30 - £50 to be a member? Likely to go to a general sale?
Unlikely I would say that they go on General Sale...last couple of years there’s been plentiful tickets available for home games, including top six home games which would never be available just before a game. This year’s is different, games are selling out quickly.

That said, season ticket holders sell tickets through the clubs Ticket Exchange, I don’t know if you need to be a Red Member to use the TX.

There is also an @arsenal_tickets Twitter account which posts re-posts people who have tickets and is apparently reliable but obv be careful.

So Monreal is away then.
Good luck to him, he's been one of our better players the last few years.

Yep good luck Nacho, been a good club servant. Still think we should have kept him till the Xmas window, with Tierney not being fit yet. Only takes Kolasinac to get injured and we’re back in the st again.

Is it just me or does the squad still feel a little thin? ETA even thinner!

Gone for my guess of starter in bold for Spurs match

Goalkeepers:
  • Leno/ Martinez-happy with that
Defenders:- have a feeling that this is going to hurt until at least November when we can relax and concentrate on 5th
  • KozSOLD
  • JenkinbantssonSOLD
  • Saliba aka Expensive wonderkid to solve our defensive woes oh right we loaned him back to the club we bought him from FFS see you next season-maybe
  • Holding in full training still no return date...
  • Sideshow Bob Snr
  • Mustafi- bench
  • Sokratis-how long before he and Sideshow Snr beat the living daylights out of each other...hmm, I guess at Liverpool match.
  • Mavropanos FFS injured groin again!? What funkwit did his medical out at least another "6-8 weeks"
  • Chambers- had cracking season at Fulham as DM...so er expect he's CB or RB for the cups?
  • Tank -more left mid and forget to get left back but um who else we gonna play on the left back until our pre-injured signing turns up?
  • Monreal SOLD good luck to him- really was time to go though
  • Tierney not sure how tested he's been in SPL & out until September at least- look forwards to originality we have and sing "Tierney" to the Thierry Henry song
  • Bellerin Right back where we started Arsenal say full training in October (player say playing Oct) so no doubt will be like a new signing (briefly) in Jan
  • ANM no doubt covering rightback (see Tank with hint more remembering to get back, and the pace to do so)
Midfield
  • Rambo Escaped free
  • Iwobi Sold to balance the books, presume youngster will get a go given Pepe (Le Pew- too soon) is "not fit yet"
  • Ozil Already in hiding with PR machine saying he can battle his way back in so we get at least a tenner for him if he moves on...
  • Mucky bench
  • Xhaky Not bad vision when has time, seems to crumble when rushed...somehow likely to be our captain
  • Torreira Started season like a Terrier finished it like a tired Chihuahua- hope for more of the former than latter
  • Elneny- On loan for season
  • Emile Smith Rowe injured again (in U23 match FFS)
  • Ceballas I don't see any other creative option for midfield
  • Sideshow Bob Jnr- think will be on bench
  • ANM should be here...see defenders
  • Pepe-Surely must start ahead of Mucky
  • Willock- probably bench at least given how thin we are
  • Martinelli- can't imagine we'd drop him into NLD so bench?
Forwards
  • that Japanese guy on loan since we signed him given away/ SOLD to somewhere in Europe
  • Wellbeck He's alive, but we let him go, good luck to him at Watford
  • Lacazette- will start if fit but touch n go at the moment
  • Aubergine sure fire starter
  • Reiss-Nelson bench, could get a start if Laca doesn't?
COYG will be in the North Bank for this one

Wow.........
I saw something similar on Twitter....it’s incredible isn’t it! And of the four left they’ve been trying to get rid of Ozil. Only one I wish we still had is The Ox.

We needed a clearout of the dross and by god have we had a clearout. Lets hope things are on the up now especially with Edu in place, wonder if he has some undiscovered Brazilian gems lined up to head our way?

I think clearing out of dross is a good way to put it in a lot of cases...a lot of it was old as well...team is much younger so there’s much more potential to improve.

A lot of those players, especially the squad players have been replaced by young academy players too. The likes of Perez, Walcott, Elneny etc. Now it's, Willock, Reiss Nelson, Nketiah (though not this season, granted). It just seems so much more exciting to have those young prospects instead of the expensive squad filler from a couple of years back. Still some work to do but huge strides have been made.

let’s see if it’s 4-3-3 today. not much team news and that’s how we like it. Spuds have some players out so will likely need to start Son with Kane, good news for us.

4-3-3 it is, one goal down but plenty to play for.

How is an almost entirely different team making exactly the same stupid mistakes we’ve been making for so bloody long? Thank god Laca just got one back.
