Well, if Citeh did us for 3, and then did the scousers for 4 (plus Liverpool having become accustomed to doing well against us) I'd say we might need to prepare for a battering.
by my maths that means you will win 1-0, we are on holiday already and playing sporadically, suspect a draw unless Luiz starts
A game that means very little to the champions yet so much for the has-beens.

Looking promising for not qualifying for Thursday night football, fingers crossed it stays that way.

yeah, it might give us the reset we need.

in other news looks like Ox is getting a bit of stick from the Liverpool fans. £40m for a bench player.

Why the hell would you not want to play in that, no top player will want to join if you are not in europe (europa or not players look at europe)

You are not going to be good enough next year for top 4 so surely a cup chance of getting champs league is a better option for you ?

Im very tempted to agree, a year to sort this mess out without the distraction of the Thursday night club wont do us any more harm barring perhaps Auba leaving.

Claude axed from AFTV and Robbie 'forced' to apaologise for referring to Son as "DVD".

Daily Fail

I think the 'show' needs to be axed, but is 'DVD' offensive? Really? I personally can't see it (in this context).
scratchchin I'm not sure it's your prerogative to see it or not. It's how the victim of the comment feels about it.

Haha
We won't win it, it makes us even more crap playing on Thursday, I don't think any top players give a monkeys about the Europa League(Unlike Champions League), the only person who benefits from Thursday night football at Arsenal is Stan Kroenke.
There's news this morning that Kroenke has given Arsenal a cash injection, perhaps Arteta has laid the law down with him demanding new players unlike snakey Wenger who wouldn't say anything while his £million a year salary kept coming in.

I am not so sure about that, you often hear them say 'they are in europe' even if just europa, you offer them nothing than domestic I think you will find it harder to sign who you want.

Other than the Champions League incentive I reckon cash is king for getting a player, we will see. All I know whilst we keep qualifying for the Europa League/Champions League and never winning it is no good for Arsenal fans who had high hopes when we moved into the Emirates. It's not turned out that good so far.

Given that the last 7 CL attempts failed to make it past the first knock out match, I'm not sure any Arsenal players gave a monkeys about the Champions League either hehe

Victim of what? It might be ill-advised to say it over a live broadcast but there's clearly no intent to cause offence. I don't see anyone jumping up and down about shell-suit parodies when it comes to scousers, or their traveling fans being referred to as bin dippers; Chelsea fans being called chavs etc.

It seems some people want to take offence on behalf of people regardless of whether those people - or victims - give a st about it or not.

They're also in hot water for Troopz saying Harry Kane didn't get booked 'because he's white so he must be white init'.

Not long ago Robbie was telling us how hard it was to grow up as a black football fan, but the excuse for Claude saying that yesterday was absolutely ridiculous, Claude clearly said 'DVDs coming off', it had nothing to do with them making a DVD about the game or whatever. Robbie only axed Claude because sponsors were threatening to pull out, so he's fine with so called 'racism', unless it's going to cost him some coin.
I'm in the minority and I quite like AFTV, while some of them are idiots some of them seem to feel the same way I do after games, and I see no issue with them having a platform to voice those opinions.

They definitely screwed it up here though, and it was inevitable really. Troopz won't accept that his racism was indeed racism, and Robbie I think is too afraid of his bottom line to call him out on it. Likewise Claude, I highly doubt he actually is actually a racist, but he has to realise that still means you can say racist things. Unfortunately Claude is an easier target.

Really I think all it needed was an adult conversation where they both said "I realise what I said was racist, I'm sorry, I have learned from this and won't do it again". Would work for me if I thought they were mature enough to actually reslise they were in the wrong and not just be saying it.

Oh well. An amateur operation is shown to handle things in an amatuer way, shock horror.

Not looking forward to tonight, but I still gotta watch. I'm assuming we'll lose, but if we can score a couple and not embarass ourselves I won't be too unhappy. A draw would be fine, a win would be great, even if it doesn't really mean much. A win would, I believe, mean that Liverpool couldn't get the points record from City.

Yeah I agree with you mate, I enjoy AFTV because it's not my club (if I'm honest). If they came out and said Claude's having some time out, he said it in the heat of the moment, he's going for re-education and he'll come back in the future, I think most people would accept that. In doubling down, especially after all the claimed racism Robbie has said hes faced, it just stinks of hypocrisy. Then obviously they've got rid of him as soon as the sponsors threatened to pull the plug.

I can't see the Troopz incident being taken any further, it'll just be forgotten about.

I forgot you had the FA cup this weekend, not surprised he's rested a few players. I reckon this will mean that Vardy wins the golden boot for sure (even if he has to share it).

The reaction of the presenters on AFTV would beg to differ.

I liked the equaliser. It shows how harrying a team into a mistake can work, even when you're dealing with one of the best defenders in the league.

Liverpool aren’t used to playing at the Emirates with such vocal home fans.

2 shots 2 goals, very unlike Arsenal, but I’m not complaining.
